I filmed this video a few months ago when I first tried the PMG wand. Since then I’ve really fallen in love with it! I still think mixing liquid is more versatile and better for precise looks, but the wand is just so convenient to use. I find myself using it whenever I want to use more sparkly eyeshadows, as you might have seen in some of my recent videos. :)
I love the artistry wand! Now that I have it I am seeing my mothership palettes as everyday palettes rather than something I had to be in the mood to “ fuss” with. I had the mixing liquid and never used it because I couldn’t be bothered after a while. Maybe if I was filming or had a UA-cam channel as a job but I’m just someone who likes to sparkle and get out the door, lol🤩
Totally agree with how the wand makes me use my motherships more and without being scared of the beautiful glitters, even the chunky ones. I used it the other day with my midnight Sun palette, used taboo in the crease and blood moon 005 (I hated this shade and terrified of fallout) on the lid and I loved it so much. Finally felt like I started getting the most out of my motherships.
As I mentioned to someone Put a couple of drops onto another place Then dip in your applicator/brush That has powder on it Into the liquid! Pour some of the liquid into a smaller battle that puts out the Liquid in drops! Mehron has a liquid that sanitizes Your Powders and settles them down And u save your palettes
Just an idea, try using the lid to a small container that you can get at Sally's for your mixing plate and put a small amount of mixing liquid in for traveling. Much easier to travel with and you get the better results. This is how I carry all my dog grooming products for dog shows without breaking my back. Lol...
This was very helpful 🏆 I have the wand but wanted to compare it to my liquid medium (not Mehron but I can’t remember the brand atm) and just never got around to it. Mostly I wanna see if one helps keep the shadow from transferring to my hooded lid better and how they wear all day. Did you wear your look for several hours, and if so, was there a difference in fallout? Thanks for the informative vid! 🤓☮️
That’s a great question! I filmed this video in the evening, so I only wore the look for a few hours after that. Since this video, I’ve just been using the wand, and so far I haven’t had any creasing issues.
very late to the game. but would putting the mixing liquid in a spray bottle ( like fix plus ) and spraying the brush work? not sure about the alcohol content though
did uou notice any difference with the fallout?? i purchased this wand and on one eye i used no wand and on other eye i used wand on top of my matte shade ofcourse for the glitter shade, i noticed it did nothing with the fall out , while applying the glitter shade with my finger i had almost the same amount of fallout as on the other eye where i did not use the wand , also yes its true when we apply the wand directly on to the lid it disturbs the shade underneath unless i rub the wand on my finger tip and lightly dab on my lid, but yes it does intensify the shade a tadbit, but disappointed as my only concern was to get rid of the fallout, i have so may palettes and i can create beautiful eye looks but only thing that annoys me is that i get a lot of glitter on my face and it is really diificult to clean that glitter
Sorry to hear you still got fallout! For me, it does reduce the fallout if I apply a decent layer of it and really press the shadows onto my lid. It doesn’t reduce fallout as much as mixing liquid, but I still found it helpful for that.

Indeed, it’s so convenient! I’ve found myself using the wand for all my recent looks with flakey eyeshadows!

OMG that Terra Moon eyeshadow is just👌🏻💙!
The shift and shine are incredible! :)
This helped so much, I've been struggling with how to apply use my mehron mixing liquid without messing up my eyeshadow pans
Yay, so glad it was helpful! :)
U put a couple of drops on another surface
Then with your applicator
Dip into the Mixing Liquid
No Fuss
No Muss

To make your eyeshadows pop
Use Natural Hair Bristles
4 a lighter shades
Use Synthetic brushes

That’s a good question! My guess it is that it would work, but I haven’t tried it in a spray bottle before
@areteanbeauty thank you for your quick reply, nothing ventured. nothing gained, I've ordered some. so ill try it out
I’d rather use glitter glue. I feel the wand always takes off my base, so then I have to put it on my finger first…not my favorite
That’s understandable! I wish it didn’t erase the shadow underneath, but I just use it when I want a opaque layer of a glittery shade.
