Well the important thing about having an opener is the set the stage. Give a decent minute. And give an entertaining interview to set the pace for the rest of the show . Especially for the newer fans or audience members. And Hans was good for that at first. He was always open and honest which provided for good interview segments. But his minutes have been lacking more and more. I think it’s good to have a regular opener but maybe don’t keep them around for 2 years so that their drive and material can diminish as complacency sets in. Maybe look for a new opener every 6 months or something
