Coool!!! I live in a high-rise condo but the strata council DOES NOT allow power washing of our concrete balcony as the dirty water would drip down to the balconies below. If you Don't have double check valves or non return valves I would not recommend that as that would contaminate your drinking water as you live your hose on the floor, glass or in a bucket waiting to fill other then holding it.

Why don't plumbers do that, instead of running their filthy hoses from the front yard tap into the house, dragging dirt through the house. Your silicone seal tips were awesome as well.
Because the garden taps are fitted with non return valves or check valves which will protect your wholesome water from contamination whenever you fit a hose to a tap. That way of connecting doesn't give you any protection unless you have this valves fitted to the kitchen sink and unfortunately people don't bother fitting them first! Hope you got it

I need one of these connectors. I'm in Melbourne and the plumbing suppliers don't stock these . When the ayrator is removed the hole measures 1. 1/2 cms . Any idea where I can purchase one ?
