Hey I have been looking for a tutorial for this song for a long time, thanks a million for putting this together. Love this song, appreciate the simple progression explained. Rinks
Took some doin, but i finally got it. added my own touches, but I finally was able to figure out how you constructed the chords. I dont see so well, so I depended on my ear a lot. Very good man. This is a great song to know. Thank you
Thanks for the great lesson bro. Now, just to learn the lyrics and get the timing down with them. You have a wonderful voice, so use it more with the high notes. Joe Walsh is one of my favorite guitarists, and he goes way back with the James Gang and beyond.
Open G is a great tuning but not only for slide as Declan shows us.but I'm buggered if I can follow his chords. I'm just trying because I love his Jumbo and his Irish accent
You should create a chord chart for this. You nailed the song for sure. Im having a bit of difficulty with some of the fingering tho. Its a bit dark and hard to see. Love it tho
chordpix.com/ Found this tool. Working with it myself to create some things. Seems pretty simple to use. Probably even be able to figure a label for the chords you create in different tunings. Im going to research that point some myself. Always coming across chord setups that I cant name.
Hi how is it going I'm from west Dublin..The strumming pattern is something I have never tried I just strum what I think sounds like the song..The best thing to do and it's the right advice is to strum to the recording of the actual song..Never worry about strumming patterns everyone will strum it slightly different each time..Hope this helps 😀
I'm from Kildare myself and work in Clondalkin. I know what you're saying about the strumming. Feel the song rather than getting too hung up on one particular strum pattern. Cheers.
J Wilder Only up the road cool..Yes its the best way to Go J..I have never used one in my life but thats just me if you want I can try to work it out for ya 😊
