Been using one for work the last few months. Great scope. I switched from the pulsar xp50 pro lrf and this thinks smokes it. Only thing I don’t like which I’ve asked about is the ballistic calculator doesn’t have angle compensation. They told me it’s now being tested, so hopefully a future update. Used it to shoot deer out to 680 yards.
I had a first gen xp50 pulsar trail from 2018-2020. When I saw that the tech was advancing so fast and prices were holding I decided to sell it, along with my scanner, and decided to wait and buy back in again until the tech flatlined a bit. I think this scope is as good as it’s going to get for this price and for the foreseeable future. I realize the sensor resolution is getting better but it’s crazy how many more features I would get with this scope for only 500 more when compared to what the trail cost and offered almost 7 years ago. The cherry on top and most underrated feature of this scope, in my opinion, is the large screen. I knew eventually someone was going to figure out how annoying those tiny screens are, bravo iRay!!!
There's only 2 things that are stopping me from getting one. 1: Doesn't have the adjustable objective lens like the RH50. 2:) I can get the bolt tx60c fit a little more and get a 1024p core.
@@GldenRetriever it does have an adjustable objective lens. I did not mention that in the video. I think either one of these would be awesome scopes though! Did you check to see if SPO had that tx60c in stock? Might be worth pricing it out through them before you pulled the trigger.
@@SouthernExtremeTV Oh wow, really? I thought only the RH50P had an adjustable objective. How to do you adjust it from 1.5x to 3x? It doesn't look like you can rotate the front end like the pro.
@@GldenRetriever well it stays at the 3x base mag. But you have the ability to adjust the front focus image for people with different visions. The 3x to 24x zoom cycle is done with the grow lever up top.
@@GldenRetriever shoot Michael a text or a phone call. (478) 299-1467 he can give you even more specifics on it. And shoot maybe the T60 is a better fot for you than this MK2. But I really really like this mk2
@@GldenRetrieverare you referring to the dual base mag feature? Like the AGM Clarion and the zoom which have two physical lenses to switch back and forth between base mag and not losing resolution?
