At least for the first time journalists are starting to have a tinge of being pro-South African as opposed to their normal narrative of asking questions from a foreigner's perspective and their obsession of rights of foreigners.
Journalist in this clip showed poor journalism. Sensationalising Op Dubula to be Privincial when it's not. Won't lie, rules ought to be placed to control immigration but such rules ought to be lenient enough for honest trade amongst Africans but never divisive amongst brotherhood amongst Africans until a time such that we do away with borders. INTOLERANCE of African immigrants should be discouraged and seen as a colonial concept aimed to pursue divide and rule. What a rubbish way of thinking. Do you think that businesses just wake up one day because they are scared and close their businesses and then open them somewhere. The motive for entrepreneurs is to make money and take risks in while making that money.
We were one country with some of these neighboring African countries as early as 1990. It's sad today they've divided Africa in small chunks for Africans to manage small chunks unaware of how dominated Africans are wholistically.
@@thembelabiyase1607 Every country has a right to protect its sovereignty. If you see that as a mentality of colonizers then you're naive and ignorant. Africa can unite if and only if people respect other African countries laws, if that is a problem then goodbye to unity

They are also not needed if are here illegally.
They really need to put more effort into employment creation.
We have about 20 million unemployed and maybe 1 million illegals.
Getting rid of the illegals won't give the remaining 19 million jobs.
It does not only ends with 1 mil illeagal immigrants because even if u are legally and u are doing a job that a South African can do the priority should be given to a South African first. 1 million is not a accurate figure it goes way beyond than that
@@philad1439 If you give a foreigner a work permit , you cannot then deny him the right to work.
Home Affairs needs to look at how and why work permits are granted , while SAPS and SANDF need to work harder on repatriating and preventing entry of illegal immigrants.

Sending them back home, SA still will be have 42% Unemployment rate. Furthermore, now investors are scared and unsecured, so they will go out of country for their business and as a result these business will be closed, and there will be ZERO job there.
Surely, looks like most businesses will just close, I think there must be a proper way of dealing with the employment issue other than everyone knocks to your business randomly and tell you what to do.
Go home
🤣😂 cry more and go home Kwerekwere

What a rubbish way of thinking. Do you think that businesses just wake up one day because they are scared and close their businesses and then open them somewhere. The motive for entrepreneurs is to make money and take risks in while making that money. Nobody should go to another country illegally for a variety of reasons, chief among those reasons is security, capacity of the infrastructure to cope with new arrivals, protection of the local population against new diseases and so on. How does the government plan for allocation of resources when it does not know how many people are in each province and municipalities? Illegal migrants also undermine the the sovereignty of the country and its constitution.
Then if you fight with other black people then you guys you must stay in south Africa don't go to other countries also 🙄
God is watching you south africans
God is also watching people who come across our borders illegally, disregard our laws and bribe our officials. The fact that y'all expect us to tolerate illegal immigration is ridiculous.

I live in the UK and I m used to balanced reporting. I'm really surprised how biased this reporter is. He is a typical of an Afrophobe. The grievances of this crowd may be quite legitimate but should they be acting outside of the law? The presenter asked him about concerns that there might be possible unintended consequences - this character fudged the response. Even the use of the word foreigners says a lot about the endemic hate of other Africans in South African society. By the way, if you are calling for any work place to be 100% SAn, then what do you do with legally settled immigrants. Would it not be a violation to deny them work?
Sadly this is not a binary issue, great question btw. Sadly the media generally only seeks to make it a binary one.
My greatest worry is what happens when this operation/group is hijacked by ppl with neferious goals. 😪
It's obvious that the labour department has failed to ensure that protocol is followed, hence operation dudula decided to tak action, only when people are doing something about the wrong doing by the government that people who think are educated come up with questions that they have failed to ask the relevant departments
