Don't Panic, God is in control of His Church. The Latin Mass will never disappear from the face of the earth.
+JMJ Exactly!
And why not? It's worthless and senseless! No one speaks Latin. The mass is for the people not the church. Move on. Latin is OUT!
I would like to think that but here in Australia we have now just a couple of churches left in the country that offer Latin mass. I just found it again in the last 3 years, we are already hanging by a thread on the removal of TLM, our rector has been removed at Christmas 2023 now this possibly happening next month. The Latin mass must survive but from a selfish point of all us older Catholics, im 69 this year, will there be a priest to say my last rites, absolve me of my sins before i die? Will i see the return of TLM before i die? I just spent 30 years with NO being the only mass, my children have never seen TLM. I pray that Francis will leave well enough alone with TLM & the sacraments. I can in the meantime panic, I cant afford to move again. This pope could send us all to hell & he doesn’t care.

You know maybe...just maybe...the reformers were right all along.
If I can find a Latin Mass I’m going. I’m so sick of the crap coming out of the Vatican 😡😡
Maybe find a congregation that will support you to start your own TLM? I know someone who did in central TX.

I am going to regularly attend the Latin Mass. Ten ways from Sunday, I am upset by this Pope's dictums. What a mess he has created. 😮😢

For sure! Let's get our claws out, there is no more time to discuss. This is a worldwide struggle, hence let's act together and the same way. Blessings from Italy 🇮🇹
St Anne in San Diego (where we met) was open and Priest did not wear masks and didn’t care if people wore masks. The Church was open every day CONFESSION EVERYDAY BEOFRE EACH MASS. Amazing!
Cardinal McElroy had forbidden any traditional priest ordained after the Motu Proprio was written to have any permanent position in the diocese of San Diego. He is barely supporting the fraternity probably only for the money that it provides to the diocese, especially now that the diocese has declared bankruptcy.
St Anne’s in SD is where I had the blinders taken off. After reading Aquinas in 50 pages.
same for sspx priests at singapore
I was raised Protestant Baptist and for years I've not felt comfortable with the informality of the worship service, maybe 30. I'm 44 years old now. I grew up hearing so much slander against the Catholics but I never really understood the dispute because at they end of the day they worship and serve Christ the same as Protestants, right? I went to a Traditional Latin Mass for the first time maybe 6 weeks ago, it was a Low Mass at 8am in an 19th Century German-built American church, and I was astonished at how beautiful and prayerful it was, a very different conception of what church and worship are about. Dr. Marshall is correct in saying that the TLM is above all other forms Christ-centered. Anyone who goes to one will immediately see this is true. The communal reverence and deadserious worship before holiness are what I've been looking for many years. I think I'm ready to convert
Please do. The irony is that there are many, many of us converts. I never knew that as a Protestant.

It's a beautiful Mass you will not regret finding The Latin Mass
We did the same- we thought we’d just “go check out” the Latin Mass. That was Easter 2019 and we never went back to our Novus Ordo church again!! Even though the TLM is an hour away, and our NO parish only 6 minutes. :)
I just want you to know that seeing you appear on TimcastIRL was a deciding factor in pushing me to return to the Catholic church... I have been attending 2-3x a month for the last year or so, but not participating in sacraments because my heart wasn't in it yet.. I went to confession last Saturday & received communion on Sunday for the first time in 21 years! I feel good, like I finally got some spiritual sustenance that I didn't know I was missing! Thank you & bless you Dr. Marshall!
Dito here too.

Wonderful!!! All heaven are rejoycing!
Welcome home. The angels are rejoicing to have you.🥳✝️
I had a beautiful experience with the Eucharist at the Traditional Latin Mass. Jesus made himself present to me. Without a doubt TLM is something we can’t lose
Jesus also makes himself present in every single Novus Ordo mass when the priest recites the words of consecration.
@@professorlogos5459 I meant a personal experience only witnessed within me
From 6 years old, due to the fact my Catholic father did not practice his faith, and my mother had no faith, my Catholic grandmother paid for my Catholic education, and I told my mother I was supposed to go to church on Sunday - So from 6 old, I attended every Sunday Mass on my own. I paid close attention to every detail, and listened intently to every gospel and homily. By the time I made my First Communion, at 7yrs. old, I understood the entire Mass, and followed along in my First Communion book, which had Latin on one side, and English on the other. If I as a 7yr. old could understand the Tridentine Latin Mass - come on now.
I can only wish others were as persistent as you were.

Thank God for your wise faithful grandmother

Jesus was tempted by the devil, do you think the Catholic church founded by Jesus couldn't be tempted by the devil?
We started attending the TLM during the 2020 lockdown time. Best decision our family ever made.
I became Orthodox this year, best decision I ever made.
As Fr. Ripperger said, the Devil said to him, “He is about to take my power away.” So Satan knows his time is growing short and so he is causing things to happen quickly… but his end will be quick and swift. Stay strong! Pray for guidance and fortitude.
I went to my first Latin Mass during covld-19 and I’m so very grateful!!!!
Me too.
I saw my very first Traditional Latin Mass given by Father Chad Ripperger. It was for me "the Mass of a lifetime" I will never forget it. I feel so blessed.
Mass is not a show, where you prefer one presentation to another. You all claim that the Catholic Church is being led by the Holy Spirit but yet act schismatic, where is your faith then, should the church be forced to bend to your views? Should the church break up because of bad fruits within it, was that not foretold by Christ Himself?
@@Flameoflove01 FYI one is more powerful than the other PERIOD!

Any mass approved by the Bishops of the Catholic Church is the mass the devil hates - including Novus Ordo.
@@krutchmasterThe Novus Ordo, which Freemasons and Protestants had a hand in crapping... errr, crafting. Right
The Council of Florence (affirmed by popes there and up until 1962) was obedient to the Apostles:
"...the holy Roman Church, relying on the teaching and authority of the apostles Peter and Paul…uses this form of words in the consecration of the Lord's Body: This is my body. And of His blood: For this is the chalice of my blood, of the New and eternal Testament: The mystery of faith, which shall be shed, for you and for many, unto the remission of sins." ...
Thus this stretches back to the Apostles, forward from them, was affirmed by the Council of Florence, continued on to the Council of Trent and past it, and present inmissals up until 1962.
@@jackcullen69 There were protestants in the Council of Trent too, so your argument doesn't work. The freemason bit is speculation from what I understand, but even if so, it would not be sufficient to negate an ecumentical council just as having Arians present at Nicea wouldn't negate that council.
Edit: Realized that you were talking about the new Liturgy and not Vatican 2. My reply for that is, if a liturgy is formally approved by the Pope, then it garenteed by the Holy Spirit to be free of error and cannot be harmful to souls. To deny that is to deny Vatican 1. Protestants and freemasons do not negate this fact just as their presence at Trent does not negate Trent.
@@Bryanisright33 Have you ever read the Novus Ordo liturgy? They say the same thing as what you just posted.:
“This is my body, which will be given up for you. . . . This is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant. It will be shed for you and for all men [Latin, “for many”] so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me.”
I predict a massive reduction in collections in the Novus Ordo churches.
Our Latin Mass is standing room only. People are waking up. ❤
That would only hurt the parish.
I won’t give the NO a cent. I will send my money to traditional institutions and help support their growth. It’s the only way.
Don’t count on it. TLM is a minority, not a majority. Pope Francis has already planted the seeds by placing like minded men to the college of cardinals and they answer to no human entity. Sure money can influence the leadership but unless everyone is all in, it’s not going to matter and they will still have their way. Pope Francis will do what he wants as long as he is the Pope. The hope his successor will UNDO EVERY SINGLE CHANGE that he made.
Good point. My parish has both TLM and NO Masses, but pretty sure the TLM is the majority of parishioners. Therefore, majority of donations.
Yeah I was one of those that started attending Latin Mass after the restrictions. Wanted to see what the fuss was all about. And yeah, no regrets.
Praise be Jesus! 🙏🏻

The difference between the TLM and the NOis a lot more than the language.

Thanks to you, Dr. Marshall, and my friend Mike Church (The Crusade Channel), in 2021 I was inspired to learn to pray the Rosary in Latin, memorized from EweToob videos by Easter 2021. During your live interview with Fr. Altman in July 2021, a viewer asked why didn’t Fr. Altman just join the SSPX. I began seeking TLM in my area, and found there was an SSPX chapel just 35 miles from my home. After 41 years in self exile from the lukewarm N0, I returned anew to the TLM. Isn't the most important thing in our entire lives....loving and honoring the Lord Jesus Christ?
THAT'S the reason Fake Demon controlled Pope Francis wants to ban it. Because it had been said for over 1,950 years that way, except from 33A.D. until 199A.D. when Pope Victor started introducing Latin in the Mass.
Yes, and He is only present at a valid Catholic Mass.
@Retiredjournalist... YES, you're right…. AND >how we worship< Our Lord is directly connected to that. In other words, you can't say you're genuinely honoring and loving Jesus IF you knowingly agree to worship Him in ways that a) remove or cloud key teachings handed down from Him and His Apostles; b) directly show less respect-reverence-to God by specific things done or not done in the liturgy; c) directly try to restrict OR completely remove access to people from attending the Immemorial Mass handed down from the early centuries of the Church (the TLM in its core elements is substantially the same from the 600's A.D.; and has its roots from the Apostles themselves-each of the 6 [7?] Rites of Mass [yes, the TLM is Not the only Rite of Mass; though pope francis has NO guts to try to do to those what he's doing to the practice of the TLM] has its origin from one or more of the Apostles).
Bottom line: there's more to honoring and loving Our Lord than just have a "relationship" with him.

Thanks to you Dr Taylor Marshall, I've attended the TLM four years now. During the lockdown, for two months my family had to attend Mass in the TV room. I followed you on UA-cam and you insisted that if people have girl alter servers in the NO, to let them resign and to find the Latin Mass, which I did and found out that the SSPX was only twenty minutes from our home. I didn't even know that such a Mass existed in South Africa. I thought the TLM was done away with completely because the Pope said so. I grew up with the TLM. So on 1st June 2020 I went and the following Sunday my entire family of 9 went. Two of my grandsons became proud Alterservers and my two granddaughters/alterservers in the NO became choir members and it is amazing how everyone took to the Latin so easily. Michael Matt was also influential in my return to the TLM with all his rantings on UA-cam.
I can also say that if it hadn't been for the lockdown I would still have been in the NO. So may God Bless you and your family and Michael Matt abundantly for all you do for The Lord.

For this to backfire, all the priests offering the TLM that this affects, need to stop offering the N.O. instead, and keep offering the TLM! They need to choose the dogma of Trent over what they believe to be the non-infallible authentic magisterium!

I'm not a Traditionalist and to be honest, I abhor the way some of them claim that Vatican II is not a valid council, because this means that the promise of infalibility of Jesus to Peter, in union with the Apostles, failed. This having been said, I recognize that the suppression of the Latin Mass is simply diabolical.

This electrical outlet provides powerful energy that, when plugged in to, energizes your life in a thousand ways, but only if you plug into the socket.
The Holy Mass is the sole source of spiritual, supernatural energy the drives forth all aspects of our Catholic Faith. Unlimited power is there but only if you can "plug into it." This Mass gives life, and energy to all the other Sacraments. It gives reason to Catholic education, Family life, religious callings and is the way to our salvation. It is the unlimited source of our Catholic power.
The evil modernists, many sporting white collars, all know this. If they can kill the true power source, they think they win. I say this to them all. Fare warning, never play with electricity or with the Mass of the Ages.
You are sticking your fingers into the main source of power to the true Church of Jesus Christ. Sparks are going to fly, and you all will get knocked onto your asses.
ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA HAMMER OF HERESY, PRAY FOR US. AMEN
During lockdown and not being able to go to Mass, I got "thirsty" for Eucharist so went to my first FSSP parish. I ended ip loving it!!
The Saint Gallen mafia has struck again. 😡
SSPX and independant chapels are the amswer.
In my teens int the 50-60’s. Learned beautiful Gregorian chant from a holy talented choir master. Never could imagine this happening to aGod’s people. Thanks for being here Dr Marshall!
But it wasn’t Pope Benedict’s gift to give! The Church already had that gift from God & it was never to be taken away, even by a pope!
He was encouraging it. Since it was being ignored in many regular dioceses.
Oh man... God help us. Mass of the ages. This has to be a diabolical move. The other masses open during covid were Anglican rite.
Mass of the Apes.
Anglican isn't a Mass at all. It's just men and women playing pretend.
In 1969-70 we were blind-sided by the Modernist N.O. We did not ask for it or want it. Pay, Obey & Pray the NO Way....or go away. This time, the TLM stays & they can go away. We'll keep the sanctuary lamp burning until they return, by God's grace.
Quo Primum: From the very first...
I am so upset more for our wonderful diocese priests that love the Latin mass and my priest is already devastated when he was telling us at mass on Sunday .
Nope. Gonna go to SSPX. I’m done playing this game. How can anyone take this pope seriously when he does things like this. Enough.
Might get uncomfortable for Francis + Parolin on Judgment Day.
Cardinals Hernández and Roach as well.
Popes John 23 & Paul 6 have been canonized.
@@ceuser3555Fake political canonizations not using a Devil's Advocate
Im sure I shouldnt see it this way, but I sure hope so.
its sort of like "hey, thank God the bombs didn't fall on us," but how long can you approve of the dropping of bombs on others?
I am a nun and I am about to be dismissed from my congregation because I expressed love for the Latin Mass😢
I'm sorry you are being treated this way. It's hard to even comprehend something so ridiculous. God bless you🙏
So sad. Thank you for your devotion, Sister. ✝️
Catholic Masses was the universal language in the Roman Catholic Church for centuries. It allowed for unity in the Liturgy regardless of the local language in the congregation. It was considered a sacred language. There is nothing as beautiful as listening to a Latin Mass . What is to happen to religious orders devoted to the Latin Mass ? As the Abbey of Lagrasse which was founded during the reign of Charlemagne ?
We are goin underground Baby!
People quit saying the SSPX is the only way to go. The FSSP has churches in about 1/2 the states, mostly in the northern tier. The TLM is the only Mass they offer.
When you pray for the FSSP be mindful of their history. God bless
Ordinariate is also great, it's like the TLM but spoken in English.
Canons Regular in my town as well. They are a part of our Diocese, and work WITH the Traditionally leaning local parish, but NO way would they Ever participate in a NO mass.
Yes true, but one day soon it seems like we will only have the SSSPX according our priest in Hawaii more priest having been leaving the Norvous ordo mass and joining us.
The likely reason people say this is because FSSP is directly controlled by local bishops who can shut down their churches at a moments notice. It’s not that they’d say the N.O, but that they can be shut down.
Love the Blessed Mother! Never, ever let go of her guiding hand that will lead us to Jesus. Pray as never before - especially the Rosary (daily) for her intentions. Love her.
The Anglicans and Methodists are splintering. This will lead to the splintering of the true Church.
This will only make the Usus Antiquior more popular.
🙏🏻
I hope they have more and better Mass schedules to compete with the Novus Ordo schedules.
I watch St. John Cantius out of Chicago on Sunday for their reverent Mass, 1962 Missal
The 5 senses is a GREAT teaching moment, Dr Marshall. The Holy Spirit is giving you the right words. God Bless.
Our Lady of Sorrows SSPX in Phoenix is seeing an influx since the banning of the TLM came out…
How long before this or an other pope overturns trans substantiation 😮
If they initiate the ban on the TLM it will be a very sad day for the Church and all of its members, even those who do not realize the gravity of what is being perpetrated.
Let them. Let them to enjoy the minute of victory. Yet, God rules eternity.
It’s a good day for the SSPX and Eastern Catholicism. I am hoping for a significant shift of money should they proceed with this ban.
Really appreciate you working overtime for us right now Dr T
Needing all these updates at this scary time in the Church
Dr Marshall you are the best, God bless you and keep you educating us, it’s so we can really UNDERSTAND
Amen, brother. Recent convert from the Church of Christ, proud to be in the fullness of the faith! Keep preaching, brother Marshall! Thank you for your positive influence on my life! Praise God and bless you and the TLM. I generally agree and pray for you. I generally disagree and pray for Pope Francis. “Go forward bravely. Fear nothing. Trust in God; all will be well”-JofA
Dominus vobiscum,
Cardinal Parolin behind this, too!
I can't stress enough how right Dr. Marshall is about learning Latin. There are innumerable resources available online, including free UA-cam videos, to help you learn Latin from absolute begginer to advanced. I have been taking several online courses and videos, both ecclesiastical pronounciation and classical pronounciation, and it is great. As an adult learner with limited time, you can learn at your own pace and it is affordable. I won't list the resources to avoid any bias, but a quick online search will show what's available. As for pronounciation - personal preference. I combine both standards (I'm sorry classical - I won't pronounce the "v" as a "w", but I got used to the hard "g" and "c"), since I believe, for conversational purposes, classical allows you to understand the stresses and long vowels more easily, and helps to differentiate between the different cases. The Latin is the Latin, so whether you use one or the other, or even a blended approach, you will learn Latin.
Anyone understands a little bit of church governance will agree with Archbishop Vigano's stance on not recognizing Bogolio as the legitimate pope. Bogolio refuses to use Pope's title - Vicar of Christ; he refuses the faithful or the Cardinals, Bishops to kiss Papal ring he wears; he refused to live inside of Vatican wall instead he lived outside of Vatican. In many ways, he denied himself as the Pontiff, he cannot blame others not to recognize him as the pope. Archbishop Vigano is the only one has the courage to say it. It's a shame that Pius X Society has to throw the Archbishop under the bus. He is correct to say that his situation is somewhat similar to Pius X community - disagree in doctrinal teachings by Bogolio, which led to his denial the legitimacy of his papacy. Pius X did not denied the JPII as the legitimate Pope, they disagreed some doctrinal teachings from Vatican II, and they were disobedient to JPII to ordain Bishops. Archbishop will be ranked as Saint in our Church. Mother Josefa, the founder of Australian religious community, was ex-communicated by her Bishop many years but later relented and brought her back to her community. Bogolio is not pope of the Catholic. He is the pope of pache mama, defender of the homosexuals, blessing the homosexual couple, comedians, the globalist...
The wheels of God turn exceedingly slow but they turn exceedingly sure. Let’s intensify our prayers and invoke the saints and archangels especially St. Michael. He has never failed me
St Michael never fails, I agree!
Prince of the Heavenly Host!
Im tired of bergoglio and his fools we need a holy pope
I live in Corpus Christi and we no longer have TLM so I started driving 2 hrs to SA to attend St Timothy TLM there….. now it may go away there as well. Continued prayers for all!🙏🏻❤️
Sin against the Holy Ghost can't be forgiven.
