Golden Pyro used to be my main guy for early game back in 2020 when he didn't get nerfed and had the double flamethrowers at level 5. He was great, arguably on par with Golden Scout.
It makes sense that it struggles with single targets pyro is meant to be a support tower not a main dps tower. its good for crowd control and the fallen guarding would be way easier for it to beat coz of the defense melting
I'm actually really happy with this buff. That's because as a low level I thought he was the best pre-buff (just because of the damage) but I never really knew it sped up bosses so this buff is prob the best buff in ages.

The regular pyro still needs a buff. Defense dropping is too niche of an ability to offset lower dps. I have an idea for a different support function. Instead of def reduction, pyro would make enemies more vulnerable to damage. It's like the heat from the flames softens the shell of the enemies, and potentially turns the flesh into goop. Each tick could make damage dealt to that enemy increase by 4 or 5% (maximum of 25%).

gold mini doesn't have a placement limit but ur gonnaneed to spend a lot more than accels to get the same dps output and also gpyro has to have you skip before getting it so its a lot worse for speedruns

Pyro alone can only lower a enemies defense by 20% But if you have more than one down upgraded to the max like for Pyros to fall in hero you can reduce it’s different from 80% to 40%
Golden pyromancer is now way more better than warden but warden still my favourite the thing is warden cannot kill the the fallen king yet cause of his range but does lots of damage and dps so golden pyromancer buff is good 💪
John I propose to you an idea, the helicopter tower has an ability that can be used to carry troops around the map without selling and replacing them. Helicopter can be upgraded to increase the amount of weight the helicopter can carry.
If u want to actually win on fallen with this many pyros,go in the 6 people games and make sure all ur temamtes have Commander and golden pyro and u should get about the same amount John did at the end

The molten boss doesn’t get damaged by fire but the gold pyro also has normal dps that’s why the fallen king got damaged more if you noticed.

Before pyro starts with 0 dmg so at lvl 0 he need to depend of fire dmg and you need to upgrade it to lvl 2 to actually do 1 dmg
