Protean, an ability that Kecleon, Greninja and Sprigatito’s lines can have.
Before Gen 9, Protean would scan your selected move and swap you to that type before firing off the move and then this repeats forever. If Greninja, a Water Dark Pokémon, uses Ice Beam, it becomes an Ice Type before using Ice Beam, granting it the 1.5x Same Type Attack Bonus (STAB) and also completely changing its weaknesses.
Weed cat does the same thing but in Gen 9 this ability got nerfed. Now you will only swap type the first time you use an offensive move, so Acrobatics into Flying and now you’re stuck as Flying until you swap to a different Pokémon or Terastalize. Terastalizing overwrites Protean so it just doesn’t work until the battle ends or if the Tera Pokémon faints and somehow comes back via a Revive in which it loses the silly crystal hat.
Yes, You can just relearn moves on the spot now, it was first implemented in Legends Arceus.
I may be that guy, but he only really did the "Victory Road" portion of the game with the Gym battles and elite 4 championship, but technically, that's just a fraction of the game, like I was hoping he'd do Team Star and the Titans and Area Zero and I feel like he left something important out, even at that

When he was talking about Glimmora being a good "lead" that refers to it being the trainers opening mon. Glimmora is Geeta's "ace" though, which means it will always be her final pokemon.
The problem that EVERYONE has with this is the fact that Gilmmora's ability causes it to scatter toxic spikes on the field every time it's hit, meaning your not flying/poison types will be inflicted with poison on entering the field. This does absolutely nothing when it's her final Pokemon to come out however and you've more then likely sent out something that directly counters it, so it ends up making her look like an idiot of a champion. Combine that with the fact that she uses some absolute garbage tier Pokemon like Gogoat and Avalugg and you have who the majority of people consider to be the absolute weakest champion (not counting Trace from Let's Go).
By now you might've clocked in that alpha's sponsorship music is always the same track, maybe, it's an iconic one he's used for a loooong time on his channel. One of my favorite one-off bits from Alpha was a while ago, I think during one of his old Smash videos, he played that song just regularly during a battle, and then added little subtitles of "Yeah, weird hearing this not during a sponsorship, huh?" Idk why but I always liked that bit and appreciate the sponsor music more.
The pokemon AI does factor in to what pokemon they send out, but certain trainers will always send their "Ace" out last.

Protean used to be stronger where it activate every time you used a move. But then got nerfed so it only activates on your first move and just stays like that the rest of the battle

Edit: If you wanna do a duck theme, like I said Scarlet/Violet would be good cause you can get Psyduck very early in that game. Sadly Ducklett is not in those games
