The shoe that grows creates shoes that grow five sizes and last for years
There are over 300 million children who do not have shoes. And even more with shoes that do not fit. Their feet grow, so they outgrow their shoes very quickly. Often, these children also suffer from soil-transmitted diseases and parasites because of a lack of right clothing, proper hygiene and healthcare. Many of these diseases and parasites get into the body because people do not have shoes. The Shoe That Grows started when Founder Kenton Lee worked in Nairobi, Kenya in 2007. He saw a little girl who had shoes that were way too small for her feet and he subsequently designed a pair of shoes that grows with their feet. The shoe comes in three sizes: Youth small, youth large, and adult. It’s made with the highest quality materials: Compressed rubber, anti-bacterial synthetic and high grade velcro
They are easy to clean. The shoes are easy to transport. It compresses into itself so you can take 50 pairs of shoes in your suitcase on a plane!
Now they distribute over 75,000 pairs of The Shoe That Grows to kids in over 80 countries.
