Glad I found this channel. Everyone has channels they like but I think it depends on where you’re at in your bonsai journey. This is one of the channels that provides some of the best information for where I’m at. Watching from the US.
Enjoy these videos Corin and the way you deliver them . Top drawer Loving the prunus Mume I got from you the other week and hope to get able to visit the nursery at some point this year rather than online shopping 👍
Great video, came on your beginner course about two years ago, can't stop telling people how good it was but at least now I can show people this video as a taster
I've just picked up a new dwarf Alberta spruce which is approximately 46 years old and has been grown in bonsai pots all its life. It is roughly 800mm high and 400mm wide. It is a neglected tree and it is doing well and I can't wait to get it tomorrow morning and I'll be root pruning and the tree will be getting its first styling and wiring. The bark is a beautiful sight and it is cracking and like a Japanese black pine flaking and has ridges and rough edges and dark brown in colour.
Ya got a like off me mate . Just started getting involved with being in UA-cam videos , so I know a little encouragement goes a long way ....keep going ✊
Does anyone know if you can make an Alberta Spruce Bonsai from a 1 gallon nursery specimen in early June? Just got a very nice one, but wasn't sure if I could safely repot and/or prune it into a bonsai, or wait until the fall.
Can you mabye keep the camera closer on the tree so we can see what you are doing. You snipping away but we see nothing from this distance. Cant learn that way. cheers
Please see our other longer videos where we do exactly what you have suggested. This one was just a fun fast paced one, showing a quick turnaround styling.

There are so many videos of these trees just being pruned, potted and then called a bonsai - was hoping you'd do something creative with it.
This was an especially quick and easy video for beginners. Check out our others for more detailed transformations.
6 minutes :)
