Glad I found this channel. Everyone has channels they like but I think it depends on where you’re at in your bonsai journey. This is one of the channels that provides some of the best information for where I’m at. Watching from the US.

Loving the prunus Mume I got from you the other week and hope to get able to visit the nursery at some point this year rather than online shopping 👍

I've just picked up a new dwarf Alberta spruce which is approximately 46 years old and has been grown in bonsai pots all its life. It is roughly 800mm high and 400mm wide. It is a neglected tree and it is doing well and I can't wait to get it tomorrow morning and I'll be root pruning and the tree will be getting its first styling and wiring. The bark is a beautiful sight and it is cracking and like a Japanese black pine flaking and has ridges and rough edges and dark brown in colour.

Where's the best place to buy bulk bonsai wire for the best price? Can't help but notice your wiring/tool box. I need spools like that. Awesome work

Does anyone know if you can make an Alberta Spruce Bonsai from a 1 gallon nursery specimen in early June? Just got a very nice one, but wasn't sure if I could safely repot and/or prune it into a bonsai, or wait until the fall.

There are so many videos of these trees just being pruned, potted and then called a bonsai - was hoping you'd do something creative with it.
