I love their sound. I heard some of their songs. First time I ever heard of them. They are out standing. Trumpets, the guitar players. The key board. The drummer. Its amazing. The vocalist. The guy on bongos . Simply amazing.

Thankyou Orgone and KEXP presenting! Even if its ages ago, this is Real quality music and will always stand the test of time. Bravo!!
They have great new members and they SO are incredible live!!! Just saw them in Minneapolis a few nights ago and it was absolutely amazing...blown away. The new singer has some serious lungs and shes bursting with energy. Have purchased all of their albums and could not be happier...love these guys!
MY kinda music! Straight-no chaser funk played by musicians in my very own age group. Even Alicia Keys had to bring 'em on board during the making of her 'As I Am' album almost a decade ago, heh. Told me all I needed to know about just how badass they truly are. Damn, I'm like two albums behind already with them. Gonna have to remedy that come Christmas time... :-)
This band is TOP! Really cool, nice concept, very musical, funky, also groovy even with breaks, which are done with taste and in great arrangement. Drummer is great, precussionist also, bass player amazing, rhytm section clear, bright, open and steady, trumpets and guitar deliciously filling atmosphere, keyboards - my God. Like someone is passionately kissing a keyboard! All that before vocals came inside and then - MASSIVE RESURRECTION! Fantastic, fantastic!!!!!!!!!

Great group of folks. Got a chance to hang with them in Baltimore years ago during a gig at the 8x10. Tried to get them booked for my homies festival but the times didn't match. Had a blast talking with them and dancing!!! Great band!!!

Brilliant...yes it does have that chasing up alleys...jumping onto backs of lorries ...sucking a lolly vibe to it for sure.. I love it and it's great to see this jazz is still growing ... I was brought up with earth wind and fire...and all the jazz bands around that era... So for me it's just great to hear younger musicians strutting their stuff...... Lovely.....

I'm really a Jazz listener, and These Guys are Amazing, infact Last Night, I saw and heard "Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra" with Wynton Marsalis!! Orgone is like very Funky Jazz!! They kind of remind me of Blood Sweat and Tears (The inventors of Fusion Jazz)!! They're Baddddd!!!

This reminds of cross between Fela and Incognito and the Meters, great music ! Finally, you can always tell when a band is really good by there live performances. It separates the men from the boys and who really bring it and who can't. M
I saw Orgone w/ this lineup- the good one- at the Free Press Festival in Houston. & I look up at them for the first time & they start their set at that second. There was like 10 people there in a space like a parking lot w/ a stage. Then all of a sudden it was packed & u could barely move. There was a major request for an encore but the leader said that while they wanted to play 4 3 hours that they were forced to leave for the next band. It was some hardcore thing were they could barely play & threw food to the 3 people in the audience. Albeit there was a chick on stage twirling flaming sticks. Wow, I wanted Orgone to play the whole 3 hours! Niki is way more cooler than me...
That first song is so funky I turned into a movie detective and arrested a drug gang singlehandedly. Can't wait to see this band next month !
