Sola scriptura would have been an utterly laughable idea before the printing press was invented.

The Catholic Church is one, Roman is a rite, along with eastern rites, it is ONE Church, and its the real one.

Key point, the Bible became available for people to read without the politics and agenda of the church. The New Testament confirms only Jesus Christ washes away the sins and gives eternal life and changes hearts, not a religious set of steps and do's and don'ts, that is humans still trying to save themselves. He said pray in my name, not pray to people who have died who were merely human with great faith, a faith that came from God in the first place. Yes we can see their faith and appreciate that, but all through the Bible God calls us to call out to Him alone. God gives us the perfect example of love through Jesus, that is what the Bible is about. True Christians, have allowed Jesus to be their only savior and ave allowed His gift to change their hearts. What we do in the flesh and following the "law" offers nothing, only the spirit. John 7:63. Jesus calls us to be one in spirit by sacrificial love for one another, not religious doctrine, pride and ego, but love and humility boasting only in the Lord.

I suggest the book: "the great controversy" by Ellen White. Absolutely the most comprehensive book on the topic.

The idea that nobody got the Gospel right until Luther and Calvin in the 16th century is utterly insane and satanically prideful.

What happened for 1500 years? People were paying money to get their sins forgiven! Utterly evil!

    Tim Keller is a joke.
We are still in the same situation! It’s the gospel and the Roman Catholic Church still pushes a false gospel!

Buahahahah!! Tim Keller for the reformation?
He praises Catholics as good witnesses for Christ.

Keller always embracing heresy. He had been bad for years and the more you watch this earlier stuff the more you more see his woke demise and compromising of the gospel.

I think you mean the rebellion, not the reformation. Become Catholic.
