Thank you so much for your video, this is going to be my first cruise and I cannot wait, we are going end of April and it may be the same one you did!!! I loved that you went to some of the various food venues and you mentioned prices as well, it will help me budget for the trip Your video is very well done!! If possible for your future video, you may add in what the room looks like, it would give people a better idea what to expect, especially from what you see on a brochure or online But thank you!!!, happy continuous sailing!!! Mary
Hi Danielle, thanks for watching. Both are good, but the value that the Yacht Club/Aurea and MSC Cruises as a whole used to represent is no longer there. Over the past year MSC has stripped down benefits and changed their pricing structure and increased rates everywhere. I still like them, but now that they are priced the same or more than competitors, I find it hard to justify when I get a better overall experience elsewhere. Getting back to your question, if you can swing the price for Yacht Club, it is very nice, but still not the same as it once was.
I noticed on my booking that I can purchase the dining package for 4 (butcher's, la cantina, teppanyaki, and ocean cay) for $155. Did you find it worth the price? I can't find the specific prices per restaurant.
Hi Conor, thanks for watching. It's definitely worth it if you know you'll plan on eating at speciality restaurants. The prices onboard are higher, plus you'll need to pay a service charge of 18%. I had pre-booked a 4 night package, plus I purchased an additional two night onboard (since I booked 24 hours before departure and it was not available). Great restaurants, my faves were Butcher's Cut, Teppanyaki and Hola Tacos & Cantina. Keep in mind Hola has a deal onboard for $20 all you can eat, so it might be better to just pay for that one separate, and use the 4 elsewhere. You can also have lunch at Hola as well.
Chris, thanks for your videos. All being well, we shall be sailing on her in May and we are looking forward to this trip. What are your thoughts on speciality dinning, are these super expensive; the Taco Dinning sounds reasonable priced for an "All you can eat". Thanks for the reviews on your meals👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Thanks Sonia and Happy New Year! If you know you are going to eat at more than one specialty restaurant, then the packages are the way to go. MSC offers two, three and four dining experience packages, but the included restaurants vary between each one. For example, Teppanyaki is only included on the two and four experiences package, not the three. Booking online in advance of your cruise will save you some money. Currently, average per person pricing is $99/Two Experiences, $110/ Three Experiences and $155/Four Experiences. Pricing onboard will be more and you'll also need to pay an additional service charge. I hope this helps.
I am cruising on Seashore next Saturday and really appreciate your well done video. Is there a smoking section by that infinity pool the way that there is one on the Divina? (I want the answer to be "no").
Hi Sue, thanks for watching. There is a smoking section on the starboard side (right side of the ship facing forward) around the corner from the bar area.
Hello ! Thank for this Video . Tell me how do you feel cruise now. Is it still interesting with less people? Can you leave the ship to go dowton for example. We'll take Msc seaview in Febrary from Saint Martin.
Hi Claude, thanks for watching. I've spent over 50 days at sea since August and personally, I've loved having less people onboard as it makes filming much easier. Aside from that, less people has not really changed the experience any, but I do realize that without ships sailing at full capacity, cruise lines are merely managing their operational costs, not making profits.
This 3-part series was fantastic... well done! I've been considering MSC and there are some nice deals on this ship for Spring Break week that I'm tempted to go for. We're normally Carnival lovers, and as such, the family is addicted to 24-hour pizza and self-serve soft-serve ice cream. Am I correct that pizza is only available during the buffet dining times... and that most of the ice cream on board is extra? Where do you run into free ice cream? Maybe desserts at the included restaurants? My kids might not forgive me if they can't get their pizza and ice cream! 😂
Hi Jonathan, thanks for watching. I know, you get spoiled with the round-the-clock pizza and self serve ice cream on Carnival. On MSC Seashore, pizza is located inside the Marketplace Buffet but it was open most of the time while the other area were closed. As for complimentary ice cream, that was only offered inside the buffet at very limited times. There is ice cream elsewhere, but for a charge. I had noticed that on our next cruise, my kids were given a "Minors Package" as part of the All In Drinks & WiFi promotion and it does appear that ice cream is included for them, just not certain from which venues. If you can get a good deal, I'd go for it, the ship is great.
@@TalkingCruise Thanks so much! Yours is the best tour and review I've seen on UA-cam... very enjoyable. The specialty restaurants look pretty good, but at a cost, of course. I'm sure the main dining rooms are a step down... but it's still pretty had to starve on a cruise ship. I saw that the "Minors Package" includes ice cream... and I believe I saw somewhere that the Adult's "Non-Alcoholic Package" does as well. I'm not a big drinker, so I'd trade booze for ice cream in a heartbeat 😁 Happy cruising!
Hi songbird372 P, thanks for watching. Seashore is a very different design from Meraviglia, so no LED promenade and no promenade either. MSC Seashore has many of her own features that make her special.
Hey Chris! It seems that the Seashore has some of the features of the Euro flavor ships, like the chocolatier, etc... does the Seashore have house made mozzarella? Do you like the American flavor ships like the Seashore, or the Euro flavor ships like the Meraviglia?? Also, does the Seashore feature Swarovski crystal stairs in the Atrium?
Hi Ari, funny, I did not see the fresh mozzarella being made onboard like on other MSC ships I've been on. There are the Swarovski staircases the main atrium. Other than the different layout and venues, I don't see much of a difference in the onboard experience between Meraviglia or Seashore, but I enjoy them both.
Hi Gina, thanks for watching and Happy New Year! Not sure which MSC ship you were on, but were they allowed to use the splash areas for little kids with swim diapers?
@@TalkingCruise We are booked on MSC Seashore for the first time come April and it wasn't until after major digging from excitement we found no swim diapers AT ALL. I can only assume they want everyone potty trained before getting in the pool so people don't pee in the recycled water. But it's such a let down. Our 2.5yr old definitely isn't there yet and we will have a 13m old at sailing time.
Hi Zeki, thanks for watching. I found the specialty dining to be worth the costs, book it online before your cruise and you'll save some money. Most beverages are not included, but again, if you pre-purchase a drink package you can get it at a lower cost.
Chris, nice as always. Thanks for doing a more relaxed style. I like some other cruise UA-camrs, but to be honest, clickbait and goofy face thumbnails get old to me, no matter the content.
Nicely done video. Clean editing and to the point. Watched all 3 parts and found them all very informative. Thanks for the POV.
Hi S Jordan, thanks for watching. I appreciate your comments and glad you enjoyed the video series.
We'll be on her in May. Can't wait.
Hi Melvin, Happy New Year! I'm booked again in Spring, look forward to being back onboard.
I'm going on this ship in about a month and now I have so many things to look forward to doing! Thanks so much and happy holidays
Hi Lil'con Music, thanks for watching. There is a lot to be excited about MSC Seashore, hope you have a wonderful cruise and Happy New Year!
These videos are well done. Your voice is soothing
Hi Con Dunn, thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the video.

Hi Mary, thanks for watching. I typically do room tours as separate videos. I have the one for my room on MSC Seashore in my schedule.
I absolutely love your videos.... Keep it up ☺️
Thanks Lashawn, I appreciate your support. Wishing you a very Happy New Year!
I really enjoyed this MSC Series. How was your experience with Aurea vs Yacht Club?
Hi Danielle, thanks for watching. Both are good, but the value that the Yacht Club/Aurea and MSC Cruises as a whole used to represent is no longer there. Does the Seashore have the ceiling show like on meraviglia?

on my itinerary it says “Ocean Cay marine reserve” is this a different location from the ocean key?
Hi Power Word, thanks for watching. Not matter how you pronounce it ( Ocean “Key” is correct btw), it is the same place.
At what time do the pools close?
Hi Hannah, thanks for watching. Typically around 8pm, but this might vary at different times of the year.
@@TalkingCruise thank you for your reply! And around what time do they open? I'm going in july and can't wait!
Do the tour of MSC seashore
Hi Lori, thanks for watching. The MSC Seashore tour is coming.
@@TalkingCruise When?
when will the tour of this ship come out
It is in production, but I can't say when it will be finished.
Also - no kids can be in any pools with swim diapers. Wish we had known before booking with 2 kids under 3!
