The thing that amazed me the most about Steve Priest is not only his looks, obviously, but his talent, and how smart he was.
He was so smart I had to feel respect.
I definitely would have tread carefully around him.
About two to three years ago, I used to obsess about Steve, but I had to stop because it was depressing me since he was gone.
And I had kicked myself for not trying to contact him while I still had the chance.
I lived across the road from Steve, when he lived in Hayes Middx
Love the Sweet , but Steve is my favorite. Best bass player and great vocals . 67 years old and still rocking to Sweet , glad they were in my generation.60’s and 70’s best music going

me too i love the Sweet and Steve will always be my favorite and best bass player in my heart. ik there are other good bass players but Steve was and always be special in our hearts and so vm missed. wish had gotten to see them in concert. tho one day when go home will see them rocking in heaven. The Sweet was first band I ever heard as a little girl. So thankful to see this video We love you and miss you Steve and you will always be the best xxx

Steve had such a dynamic personality
Stevie war ein sehr guter Bassist mit einer tollen Stimme, dazu war er der Aufregendste von den Sweet, er konnte mit Make-Up umgehen und war wirklich phantasievoll dabei. Und er war so wunderschön, gold-rot-blonde, lange Haare und Augen, so hellblau wie der Winterhimmel und ein Lächeln, dass einem das Herz dabei aufging. RIP Stevie, ich hoffe, ich treffe dich im Himmel. Hier auf der Erde hat es leider nie geklappt.

Hi, where did you get those first two songs? They're not on my American Cut Above the Rest. And every time I went to Scotland I searched the record stores for any Sweet I didn't have. But I never saw those tracks.
