- Comparison Kazuo Sato Prestige 2000 vs Ramirez 1a 1995 www .concert-classical-guitar.com
A great opportunity to acquire at a reasonable price one of the best concert traditional guitar from the famous Japanese luthier Kazuo Sato : a 2000 Prestige concert guitar in perfect condition.
M. Kazuo Sato is one of the most famous Japanese luthier - he lives in Germany since 1976 and worked in England with the Luthier David Rubio . His guitars are famous for their exquisite craftmanship and for the high sounding quality.
If Kazuo Sato had be compared to the other famous luthiers, his name would be mentionned with those of Daniel Friederich, Andreas Tacchi or Romanillos.
This Prestige guitar from M. Sato reminded us the latest Daniel Friederich from 1989 that we had for sale : same dynamic, same wonderful tone color but with maybe thicker notes , full and soft specific color of sprucetop. The sound is elegant and beautiful, the spruce top brings a lot to the string separation, even is the guitar is clear all the note remains soft with deep basses which are round and loud.
The guitar which has been carefully played is in a close to new condition. The polish is wonderful and very thin. Contrary to a new Sato, this one is already very opened (it takes years to open a spruce top). Last but not least, the crafsmanship is amazing, the rosette and the bingings are pieces of art: the Japanese lutherie savoir-faire with the German quality sound.

Very beautiful comment
Very well said.
@@J.Dove3D Thanks a lot
@@FadingRosesBluesTristeza Thank you very much
Fair and square comment bro
The Sato guitar to me is the real deal, no comparison. Mr Kazuo Sato knows his stuff. Wish I would own one someday.
same here
Both are great but I would prefer the Sato
The Sato by far
Both sound fantastic. I'd like to be able to play like the presenter,
both fine but a matter of preference I do believe.
Both beautiful.
Sato ist all better.
Nah, Ramirez has better trebles. Ramirez is boxy in the middle range. Sato is lighter, but it's expected from a spruce vs cedar top. Both are very nice; I wouldn't say, one or the other. Both sound great to me. Mountain thyme sounds better on Ramirez due to spruce top in my opinion.
I prefer Sato.
Please, make a video comparing a K. Sato and a S. Marty!
Sato, of course))
Hola como se llama la canción que toca en el minuto 2:05 Gracias
Will ye go Lassie go, scottish song, i think so
I believe it is an old Scottish tune titled "By the Bonny, Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond".
Hola. Ya di la respuesta, aunque en Inglés. Por favor ver la respuesta. Soy mexicano, no escocés. "By the Bonnie, Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond". O sea, "Por las Bellas Orillas del Lago Lomond" (en Escocia). La palabra Bonnie a veces se escribe Bonny. No sé cómo está en el título original.
Personally I find Ramirez guitar’s tone much clearer, sweeter and more beautiful than the other guitar.
Sato no comparison
sir,you play to test the bass, what name the song you play it? maybe anyone know it? tq
teddy purnawan Wild Mountain Thymé
@@ivanguban7143 tq ivan
Ivan Guban it’s definitely not Wild Mountain Thyme - sounds like Bonnie Banks of Loch Loman
@@marcaskew61 Spot on...The Bonnie Banks O'Loch Loman it is.
Ramirez!
2:08 what is the name of the piece?
Will ye go Lassie go, a scottish song, i think so
It's Loch Lomond... ua-cam.com/video/gb8AGuD2uOI/v-deo.html.
Sato guitar has brighter trebles and louder than Ramirez, but not the basses.
Probably due to the difference in top woods, I guess.
Listen again. The Sato without question has deeper and more robust basses with fuller, warmer, plumper trebles. Don't let the cedar vs spruce bias throw off your judgment
The Sato is ways better
Ramirez is guitar...
Ramirez es un sonido mas uniforme con balance kozuo no esta balanceada mucho bajos decadencia de medios mas en la cuerda G. Ramirez tiene mejor sonido y balance
Não fale besteira!
Ramirez 1a is now the better ❤
More warmer Sound
The Ramirez lacks of full body sound
