I think what she says is true, nothing selfish, but without the selfishness of others, negative when making pictures etc...how to be when others are so judging and negative, and also how private a picture...a lot better when you do it... yourself... a lot of times..sometimes not, sometimes it is.. Love the documentary!
This was beautifully-done. Great shots (both hers and the video), great work, great messages. It really is about the art of it all... art first, business second. Otherwise, you become a slave to your own work. Great use of music, great flow of self-narrative as well. A very nice job and kudos to Clayton Arnall as well. I know it probably took a week or more to put together a 7 minute video, but the effort is worth it. Fantastic story-telling.
This is a portrait of a woman who captures intimate moments, alone. I wonder if she has a difficult time being intimate with others. Perhaps her only way to feel the depth of an intimate relationship , one she’s having with herself then sharing with others... thus, deriving some sense of intimacy with others. It’s the only way I can describe what I see here... I just sense there’s more to it than what she’s portraying, if not narcissism, perhaps couldn’t stand to be so vulnerable in front of another human or photographer , as this puts her in control and gives her the ability to avoid others having the opportunity to put her in a bad light... if she’s going to be in any vulnerable situation , she’s going to be in control.. I’d like to know more about her childhood traumas, etc., or perhaps even some neglect or a parent that had narcissistic issues and forced her to perform and/or excel as they could have derived their sense of identity and success through the successes of the child.
The part where she said that she wanted to have a photo whether of someone else, self, or self portrait, involving nudity not mean anything with a sexual essence I believe is unrealistic.I believe the male mind can’t see something nude involving and NOT associate that with a sexual sense.I assume it’s the same for girls as well.
Beautifully articulated story and I believe all INFJs know how to appreciate beauty. 💜
