My mom passed away a few days ago so I haven’t been able to watch ,,but I’m slowly coming out of my deep grief ...I’ll always miss her I loved her so much ,,,thank you so much for your videos
Dear Beth, may your peace return and may your love for your Mother help you to reach out to others who grieve the physical loss of a loved one. God bless you.
What an amazing place, all those hidden graves, wonder how many more there are, love how respectful you are. Thank you for picking up the flag, & making Mary's name visible. Beautiful, peaceful place. Great job on this video. Thank you for taking us along.
All the overgrowth adds to the serenity and beauty of the cemetery. It is like peace with earth. Love wandering through old cemeteries. You are so respectful. Thanks for another great video.
Wow - what a beautiful resting place, I think I could spend days and weeks there to explore it properly. Such a gem right where you are living. Thank you so much for this episode, Matt!!!
Wow Matt, you have officially outdone any other cemetery/graveyard video's, that you have previously done! You found a good one here, but the vandalism is a crying shame! The respect that you show the forgotten, is heartwarming to say the least! You know this is right up my alley, thank's for taking me along with you! 🎈
Get a 5 lb bag of flour to rub on the faint lettering of the head stones and the lettering will show up plain. Rain washes off the flour and no damage is done.
😊👍👍👍👍love your videos and how reverent you are when you explore the cemetarys. So glad you took the time to find some of the hidden forgotten graves. Thank you so much for returning the flag.
Another great video! Dude, I’m sorry but I don’t know your name yet, you have such a warm and kind heart. It fills me with joy to hear your comments about what you observe. I think that there are many people who will watch you, feeling the same way. About the ivy, I found out by observing my father’s yard what ivy can do. Ivy kills, it strangles the lifeblood of trees. Folks plant it to look pretty then it grows and eventually kills the tree it’s growing on. How ironic it’s there, growing so out of control at that cemetery. Kind of sad, I think. ❤️🖤 Namastè 🙏🏼
New subscriber here, I have always loved graveyards, love to read the headstones and see the craftsmanship of the stones. I started going to graveyards when I was about 9 or 10 years old, I am 60 years old now, do to a lot of surgeries I can't get around like I would like to, enjoying your videos. Thank you.
So wonderful! Thanks for being so respectful and thank you for doing the Cemetery videos. I love them. You breath life into those that have passed on, if only for a second.
You are such a respectful young man Matt, please keep up the great work you are doing. Is the widespread damage to a lot of the gravestones a natural occurrence seeing as the cemetery is so old or were they vandalised do you think?
Outstanding place ,outstanding work. Love your reverence.Picking up and replacing the flag, which didn't look too weatherworn yet, touched my heart as you so often do.Thank you
Beautiful cemetery, So sad that the headstones are over turned, hopefully someone will watch your video and get a crew in there to repair and replace them. I live in a very old town and in May stupid vandals went in our 170 year old cemetery and vandalized a lot of the old headstones, work has been in progress since to repair the stones, if you're interested in looking at the beautiful cemetery, it has a very interesting history, it's Warrenton Cemetery, in Warrenton, Virginia.
Many of these markers were not vandalized , but damaged by weather. The stones get porous and water gets in and freezes. The expansion causes cracks and a good windstorm and gravity take them down. The original cemetary for the town i live in has burials dating back to before it was even a village , and the original homesteaders in this area were buried there as were soldiers from the revolutionary war up until world war 1. My house was on ground that was part of the graveyard but the nearest headstone is 8 feet from my garage.
Great video. Did anyone else notice that this Video is a Hatfield Cemetery, and in the Bridge with the Batmobile video, the bridge was built by a McCoy?. Thanks for sharing the video with us all , Cheers.
Hi Matt I want to thank you for taking us on this journey with you and showing us all these different types of cemeteries and peoples grave sights and every details about them especially the older ones with the history behind them and the fanciness of them especially the moseleums love it. I especially love the war burial grounds especially the history behind them anything that has to do with military and wars. I live not to far from Gettysburg and I get out there when I can to visit the old graves out there and the battlefield and to pay my last respect to those who fought and gave their lives for our freedom and seeing all the amazing and beautiful statues and the placues on the history of Gettysburg and on important people of thee time and much more in that place alone that there's never any time to get to it all and the time of Lincoln it all facinates me. I too am facinated with cemeteries this may sound creepy but I've been that way since I was a child curious about dead people and cemeteries. I remember as a child my mother took a photo of me with my other siblings and I was the only one with my head turned back looking at a cemetary but I remember when I very first saw a cemetary this flat land with nothing there but all these stones sticking up out of the ground and some shaped like crosses and asking my father what was that because I never knew nothing about death and he said it's a grave yard that's where dead people are and when he told me it kind of frightened me alittle and the more curious I became about it, burials and cemeteries. Thank you you are amazing
I saw a whole lotta poison ivy where you were walking. It is a shame that the grapevine has taken over so many of the graves and trees. It would be a good days work to go out there and spend some time clearing it all out. A day well spent. Wish I lived closer.
Really great video, and the music accompanying it! I admire your respect for people who came before us, so many years ago. What a great gesture clearing the overgrowth covering Mary Gill's name.. I'm sure she appreciated someone thinking about her again..
"The life that I touch for good or ill will touch another life, and that in turn another, until who knows where the trembling stops or in what far place and time my touch will be felt" Frederick Buechner You're an old soul Matt..
I'd be so tempted to take a weed whacker to the overgrown stones. Just out of respect. You are such a sweetheart the way you treat these people. Bless your heart.
Wow, what a treasure! Places like these are the reason why I decided long ago to be cremated. The thought of my kin, even distant, not coming to visit my grave just seems too.....lonely......abandoned. Anyway, wonderful find, my favourite kind of subject matter....thanks!
Beautifully done! Do you suppose those markers that had fallen was age or vandals? Obviously there is a caretaker as the grass has been mowed. Surprised they hadn't tried to "fix" them. Certainly a beautiful and peaceful place......... Thanks!
Great video..there is a very old Cemetery near me that I go to just to look around (civil war) and admire the craftsmanship on them markers is beautiful..i don't understand vandals I mean why destroy a beautiful piece of art ? Thank you for putting the flag back I do that also when I walk around. They do need to pull them vines off them markers before you can't see them at all. Keep up the awesome work.
What a unique place. Excellent landscaping wih the overgrowth of ivy and the large evergreen trees that looked like huge umbrellas; all done by nature. It was gorgeous. Really awesome footage for preservation purposes Matt. Awesome idea for sure. Thank you 539 Productions ! 👍 ✌
hi Matt great filming of this cemetery it a shame to see so many headstone broken but really a beautiful cemetery keep up the good work Matt i watch every video of yours/Dave from England
I am pfletch and am using my dads account because he wants me to save your vids and subscribe for him while he is out hunting and Ill just tell you.....we have a lot in common !! I love cemetery tours. Dad does too. We learn so much from them.I have a lot of respect for you. I dont think these graves were hidden purposely,....they just got caught in the over growth in time. What an awesome find though. Thanks, man.
I love watching your videos an seeing the history of America buddy keep up the good work😁 I've been subscribed since your first video you posted so if any chance please give me a shutout I really appreciate it! Thank you and have a BLESSFUL day exploring
This is one of my favorite cemeteries that you've found. The vines taking over everything aren't ivy, they're wild grape vines. Once they get established like this, they're a bear to get rid of. On the other hand, they're also protecting those who rest beneath them from vandals.
The property owners should cut back all the overgrowth and see how many graves are actually covered up.Clean up the cemetery and show some respect for these final resting places.
What an exquisitely lovely cemetery! I only wish you would have read some of the DOB and DOD's out loud. I'm losing my sight and even with my glasses, I just can't see well enough to read the marker's on the stones. I would so love to walk thru that beautiful place. Thanx for making this video. It was beautiful.
All of Us Hatfield's are related!!!! I'm very proud of my family & heritage! And yes my family is from the Feud. This is very interesting. Always will be a Hatfield.
Keep in mind that somebody has to pay to keep these cemeteries maintained. 100 years after the majority of the people have already been interred, it's a minor miracle that it is still maintained at all. Most modern cemeteries no longer allow monument style grave markers, instead they are flush with the ground, so that maintenance can just drive the mowers over the entire area, as oppossed to having to mow around 700 gravestones, then weed wack 700 grave stones, 25 times a year, for 100 years, with no incoming revenue. BTW I appreciate the respect you showed the graves, if I was buried there, that is how I would want vistors to act, nicely done.
My mom passed away a few days ago so I haven’t been able to watch ,,but I’m slowly coming out of my deep grief ...I’ll always miss her I loved her so much ,,,thank you so much for your videos

So sad to see the neglect of once loved people...You are doing a great job Matt.
Glad I am not the only one who finds cemeteries fascinating. Great video Matt. Love the music and you are so respectful.
I I love to see all these old graves some people think I am weird but l just love the old cemeteries . Irene.
Beautifully done Matt! I've been walking with you since almost the beginning. Don't give up, you have a real talent.
You sure can tell a story. 👍🏼Absolutely beautiful place. Gone but never forgotten.
Thank you for finding these long forgotten places I really appreciate and enjoy your vedios
Some of those stones looked new, like people are still being buried there. I had this on my WaterLater list for year. I'm glad I finally watched this.
Wow…..a beautifully filmed testament. Thank you for sharing this with us!! Your work is very masterful!
Thank you Diane! I really appreciate it!
It was nice of you to put the flag at the headstone. Nice job. May all those people rest in peace.
Thank you for taking us with you on this journey, and the respect for the Graves 💓
Thank you! It is a shame when people destroy the memories of others. I am happy to be able to do a small part in preserving their memories.
That was quiet the place to be. Eerie but beautiful at the same time. Great video. Thanks
I always feel sad when the graves topple over and become unreadable. Great video
Very tranquil and beautiful cemetery, thank you for sharing with all of us!

The cemetery is so beautiful. Thanks for showing us these lovely places
You are so respectful--- I think these people would be honored that you took the time to visit them---it is a pleasure to watch your vlogs....
You are such a respectful young man Matt, please keep up the great work you are doing. Is the widespread damage to a lot of the gravestones a natural occurrence seeing as the cemetery is so old or were they vandalised do you think?
Thank you! I tend to think most places like this prob have some mix, especially in highly populated areas.
Thank you, video was awesome and very respectful. Not only are they all resting in peace but also beauty. If it's abandoned time will catch up to it.
Poignant music really fit this video. Thank you sharing 🙂
I love remembering the ones gone before us. Thank you for sharing with us💕
Outstanding place ,outstanding work. Love your reverence.Picking up and replacing the flag, which didn't look too weatherworn yet, touched my heart as you so often do.Thank you
Im speechless. So well done, as are all your videos. But this one was super touching. Good job!!

Lewis Miller Thanks for this information.
Thanks for showing us this! I love your explores!
Ai. 6:53 that child was born very close to my birthday- but 104 yrs apart & a few days. Poor baby- died so young.
Great video. Did anyone else notice that this Video is a Hatfield Cemetery, and in the Bridge with the Batmobile video, the bridge was built by a McCoy?. Thanks for sharing the video with us all , Cheers.
Great observation! Actually missed that...

Grave yards are very historical and interesting. Great video.
Great video, what's are some of the dates on the stones. Curious as to date of cemetery? Thanks
Beautiful! Thank you
Makes you wonder how far back that cemetery goes. Sad that the markers are being overgrown into the ground but still beautiful.
I think the cemetery began in 1830 - 1835? When he was looking at Mary's grave at the end, he mentioned the time it began but not an exact year.
Great job Matt keep up the good and important work!👍👩🏭🕊️
graveyards are not what they seem...... lovely video.

If you get ahold of the boy scouts they will help fix the cemetery
Nice bit of history there. That Ivy is a nightmare, it just takes everything over too quickly. Cool video dude 👍
Thank you for being interested in history, reverent of who came before and are now forgotten. Love your videos!
Really great video, and the music accompanying it! I admire your respect for people who came before us, so many years ago. What a great gesture clearing the overgrowth covering Mary Gill's name.. I'm sure she appreciated someone thinking about her again..

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos and love these videos .. Beautiful!!
So sad to see the decay of time with those graves! 700 with no sense of order in where they are placed. Great video. Ps love the colour of your car :)
I'd be so tempted to take a weed whacker to the overgrown stones. Just out of respect. You are such a sweetheart the way you treat these people. Bless your heart.
Thank you! Hopefully someone clears some of the edges out!
So relaxing 😉
That was very nice of you to replace the flag. Much respect

Sadly there are a lot of forgotten and neglected cemeteries around the USA . All relations have long gone away.
Nature mingled in with the tombstones makes it more peaceful. Bodies truly being given back to the earth.
I enjoy your vidoes, and am touched by the tenderness you show towards the graves of these forgotten cemeteries
Thank you so much for sharing this video of this historic cemetery. I enjoyed this peaceful site completely.
If you rub flour on a grave that you cannot read then dust it off you will be able to read it real good
Another great video keep up the great work you do

Wow, truly the most interesting, peaceful and beautiful graveyard you have covered by far.
Every thing in time will return to the earth ........
I live about 1 hr. west of Forte Wayne. Do you live in Indiana?

Love that you do this. I find cemeteries fascinating also.
I really enjoyed this a lot. Nice when you replaced that flag. Beautiful place.
Another awesome cemetery!! Thanks!! Makes me want to get buried! Haha! Make a great horror movie location too!
Matt another great video!!
Thank you Linda!
You are awesome I love old cemetery's also
All of Us Hatfield's are related!!!! I'm very proud of my family & heritage! And yes my family is from the Feud. This is very interesting. Always will be a Hatfield.
I love the old headstones and the historical things you can learn . If I find a particular grave that I find interesting I will make a pencil shading
Nice video!....I had family in FORT WAYNE. I'M FROM NEW CASTLE,INDIANA...maybe you can check out some old cemetaries and abandoned places here
Hi Matt, you really are a lovely man xx
Awesome video thank you soo much
new sub* That is Cudzu taking over...interesting video!
Thank you!!
Well taken care of too
Your voice is so soothing
I hope my grave gets lost in a beautiful, vine overgrown area. That seems romantically peaceful.
It seems there entire place has been vandalized and poorly kept.
My hometown the Fort!
Thank you for putting up the American flag
diediedie741 I was going to say that too. Respect
Good vid...
Great job. Great video
Alot of these older graves are from the early settlers that ventured west from the East coast, in search of finding a place to settle down..
👍👍

Heres a thought....for the hard to read graves to rubbings.
Thank you for replacing the flag ..you have a lot of respect for those who have passed on ,,you are awesome
very nice video
Muito lindo esse lugar !
