Now put Zircon Hypersonic cruise missile and S-400/S-500 SAM in those launch pads, replace radar with AESA phased array radar, Kirov Battlecruiser got so much potential as a weapons platform you can put 300 missiles of different types and purpose with the size of this beautiful beast.
Russian Navy (and previous Soviet Navy) often paint their decks red. The paint is rust/corrosion proof and contains lead oxide hence the red colour. Many other navies use a similar rust/corrosion-proof primer it but then coat over it with a dark grey paint (US Navy for example). The Russians just don't bother with the top coat. Also the lead oxide paint the Russians use is now banned in USA and many European countries...

I was kidding in my post. I love all ships no matter which country has them. To me they are technological wonders. Saddest part is when they get old or outdated they are mothballed or sold for scrap.
