This was great information. Thanks for sharing! I'm planning to switch from Mr Heater propane heaters to a diesel heater in my van before next winter, but have been a bit concerned by the number of people I have heard say they received no directions or directions that were basically useless. It's always nice to have an idea what's what before jumping into a project!
It’s impressive how simple and efficient the heater is. I’d be curious to see a Wabasco taken apart to see if there is a huge difference in quality for the price differential. Nice job on the video.
Great info! I bought one of these this winter on your advice, been using it in my RV in the high Arizona desert works great so far! Would definitely like to see more info on how to use it since it came with nearly useless instructions lol
Nice job! I have one question, though; I didn't see if you cleaned out the tiny hole by the place where the atomizer and glow plug goes. A lot of people miss that tiny hole. Just wondering, thanks.
I got my teas in the other day. Forgot to mention but yeah enjoying all 3 the green, red and blue. Did you ever try the Lucas Oil for your transmission fluids change?
I ran this for a year and it actually didn't need cleaned out so much. If you blocked the exhaust though you might need to do it sooner. The atomizer definitely needed replaced and the glow plug was on the way out. The kit is in the video description.
On the high setting how long does this actually last on a gallon of diesel? And have you ever tried running it on anything else? Used motor oil, ATF, cooking oil...
I run the one in my shop that's not even insulated on high for at least 2 days. It's not as good as my wood stove but if I insulated it's all I'd need. In my van I rarely turn it above level 3 of 10 and it keeps me super comfortable for about 3 days. I've only run fuel.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll post a video that explains everything the instructions don't.

Wabastos are built a bit better but these Chinese versions are about 1/10th the cost. The wabasto is also a bit smaller.
Hello from the high desert of New Mexico USA 🇺🇸. I just found your channel and I liked and subscribed
Welcome!
Thank you for this video. We are looking to get a heater on our sailboat to extend our boating season...hmmm
Good call

Great to hear! I've got some great tips I'll probably put a video together.
I'm so interested in getting one of these one day. They look efficient and effective
They've been great for me.

Excellent video! Thank you
No sweat! I have a couple more of these on the way so I'll be making more videos about them.
Excellent, I will be looking for them. You initial one helped me out a lot. @@FrugalOffGrid
Lmfao! You slap it back together like Will did Rock!
😂🤣😅

happy to hear it, I used BG conditioner. It's not perfect but it sounded smoother today. Maybe it will continue to improve.
@@FrugalOffGrid 🙏👍 yeah if you continue to have your trans slip between 50-65mph just try 2 Lucas Oil bottles.
Thanks
i like your videos so much, thank you
Happy to hear it
Definitely would like more info. No instructions with my Chinese one… still haven’t installed it cause no info. Have had it for 8 months
Oh no, thanks for the comment.
I think the detailed video would be helpful to an audience beyond off grid and homestead people, so yes, make the video.
Hey Mike! I'll see what I can do
Video 100. 👍 yeah
I better hurry and post more!
How long did you operate this before having to do this? Was there a kit to do this?
