I love how The Simpsons treated the source material with so much respect while adding their own style to the mix. Their have been so many parodies across television, but The Simpsons gave it the best honor.
I am 41 and my fiancee is 50... we just got taken back to childhood years. Life seemed so easy back then. I, myself, did not pay much attention in school, now wishing I would have, don't remember alot of what was taught... but these Episodes shown in class I remember!!! It brings a smile to my face 😊 My fiancée was the one who paid attention in school and of course remembered all of these episodes! It brought a smile to his face to remember his childhood years... 😃😃😃 thanks for posting these and for the 🙂😊
Kinda sounds like my wife, who’s 50, and didn’t pay attention in school. I, being 50 too, have gone down memory lane and enjoy this. 😊 The musical Hamilton has sparked her interest in history.
You just have to appreciate how well thought out the US government was by the founding fathers, all these ways to distribute power and bills need extra precautions before becoming a law
@1:29 I remember years ago when I listened to the radio station in Baltimore and the DJ played the club music version of the school house rock song "I'm just a bill"
“Then I’ll crush all opposition to me. And I’ll make Ted Kennedy pay, if he fights back, I’ll say that he’s gay!”
Preach!
Door’s open, boys!

These lil ditties were, and still are, great learning tools.
I'm 60yo and many of them have stuck with me. d:^)
Unrealistic… they made the bill into a law
I mean, keep in mind the bill in question Here is the one that makes school buses stop at railroad tracks
The great Jack Sheldon and the legendary Bob Dorough... wonderfully talented jazz musicians who decided to do this... great talents!
Door's open boys!
♫ I'm an amendment to be, yes an amendment to be, and I'm hoping that they'll ratify me ♪

Why did they stop these Public Services commercials? No wonder we have forgotten so much.

GOP house members could learn something if they watched this I think they have forgotten how government functions.
Democrats aren’t really better in that regard… democrats won’t govern, and republicans govern like Sauron.
Cus of abortion?
@@majorskies7091I guess they're not going to answer
@majorskies7091 probably because they've only passed like 30 laws while other generations have passed 300+ laws.
