Please make this a series!!! Like, how to pose outdoors, how to pose on the beach, how to pose while wearing winter clothes (like coats that are very big)... That would be very helpful!
i agree! we NEED this; i noticed people take less photos during winter time but i feel like you can still tempt to look good in a coat or lots of layering. We just need some guidance haha
Laura Riquelme Honestly for me I don’t think I look so bad in person but oh god when I take photos I look like goblin. Or maybe I’m like that in person haha I just don’t get how different I look on camera compared to mirror .
@@prvotri8253 probably we just don't know how to pose 😞 I've always struggled with it, it's hard! Hopefully these advises help us all do better in future pictures, and keep us from running away from the cameras, because I literally run away when someone tries to take a group photo or something lol So let's keep up and try our best ☺️
That's what I was waiting for haha I'm helping my parents' with their jewelry shop. It's a very modest shop. My parents are old. Lockdown was rough for us. So I will try my best to reboost their business with a website and taking pics of the products on me or a model (a friend haha). Your video will hopefuly give me ideas and tips. Didn't watch it yet ✨😍
Yea 😣😣 but then I see like Nikki Tutorials... I dunno how she does it, I can never get that kind of glowy pretty lighting. Natural sunlight is my best choice.. unless I figure out her method haha
@@Taylor_R have you seen Nikkie's studio tour where she shows her set up? I think it's in one of the videos from this year? She has a fully equipped studio, custom built by professionals with tons of REALLY expensive lights in it. The kind which are used in Hollywood productions, 5-15k a piece
To achieve something, only 1% talent is needed and the rest is hard work. You are very good at being persistent, especially if you want to get the best result 😁
Models of all ages, shapes, and sizes are always needed! Sure some jobs won't be superstar glamorous, but they exist. Remember, there's more than just young people in this world.
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate how you seem like such a genuine, nice and chill person in these videos. It doesn't feel fake or makes me feel uncomfortable because I'm not a super model like some other videos do. This was really helpful, thanks ^^
This is the ONLY true style video I need for this season. It’s funny and I love all the styles you put together. Its all one can possibly need. It’s fashion and comedy. If fashi-edy wasn’t a thing before, Taylor just made it one.
there are lots of pics that the model doesn't show her face to focus on the outfit or the view. you can still take good bomb photos even without showing your face also it's good to know your angles. hopefully this helps :))
I love how creative you are, it seems like you can make something extraordinary out of thin air. You really inspire me in every video, you're so intelligent, funny and strong, and of course insanely beautiful. Thank you for every single video you take the time to record, edit and upload!! ❤️
i know you are down a little lately but I want you to know that you motivate and encourage me and make me happy with your videos just so much and I guess many others feel the same. Lots of love and positive vibes to you
This is incredibly helpful for average photo-taker like me! Please make more videos on how to pose in different positions and settings (sitting, standing, group, etc/indoor, outdoor, beach, nature, etc). I always have an image in my head of how I want the photo to look but I can never recreate that mental image. Now I know it's because I'm not really doing the right things and posing in the right way. Please make more of this type :) Thank you!!!
I’m rewatching this video in the morning before work to take notes 😅 this is SO HELPFUL and inspiring, thank you Taylor. I feel like you’re the big sister I never had helping guide me through life
I would love a part 2!! This is so helpful and I really like when you show how exactly you can pose to make your photos more interesting and flattering
when you do videos like these where you give us tips, share your experiences etc it feels like you’re my older sister that just happens to live abroad or something hahah luv u taytay
Oh my goodness, you have given me so many ideas! I usually look pretty weird after trying to take a picture, but there would sometimes be a random picture that looked okay, and I never knew why lol. Turns out, I think I had accidentally done some of the tips you mentioned! The hands thing is especially important. So many times I forget about my hands, and they end up looking clenched or twisted in some weird way. I LOVE the mirror idea! I'm going to redo my website, but will need some new pretty photos -- I think I'm going to try using a mirror outside with my violin + some flowers.
This couldn't have come at a better time! You are such an inspiration, a living embodiment of 'Just Do It!'. This vid was the nudge I needed to get started on my own platform. Keep on doing you! as its an inspiration to many!
The music is so true! I did my first ever photo shoot last week and as soon as Ariana Grande's 7 Rings came on, I started doing all these different poses and felt so confident because of the vibe of the song 😂💖 I got a lot of inspiration for posing from you as well, so thank you! ❤❤
Thank you, this helped a lot. I liked that you coverd the basics very nicely, keeping the whole guide natural and simple. It really looks and feels doable.

I think a cool video idea could be if you took us along for a planned shoot. Idk if you have time and/or energy to do a shoot just for the fun of it. But I think it could be quite fun if you brought us along for all the steps of a shoot, including the inspiration hunting and planning. Maybe if sets or props would need to be found or made, you would show how you would go about that. Say you pick a landscape photo and a fabric swatch in the beginning and then you must build a series of pictures from that? could be cool.
I loved this video! Fashion is definitely my creative outlet so I have quite the collection of clothes. Unfortunately, a lot of them aren't work appropriate so I'm not able to wear them. So, as you said in your video, I've started styling my clothes on the weekends just to take instagram photos. It's really fun and I feel like I'm getting use out of my clothes as well.
