Gosh, your videos are like a breath of fresh, cool air. Calm, chill and soothing. Just what I'm looking for. It doesn't hurt that they are quite informative as to how an artist's life is.

I’ve missed you! Thank you for the info on your printer. We always forget to factor in the upkeep on printers, which is where they really get you. Especially if you are using lightfast quality ink. Also, thanks for all the links and beautiful mail you’ve received. For some reason I didn’t know about yourInstagram account. I paused the video and followed you there. Happy Easter to you as well.

I just got two large format Canon printers at work, and they’re awesome. Printing photos/artwork is a totally different experience than interacting with it only digitally.

So, I work as a framer for a local craft store in my state and I think it's great that you use archival paper because it does last for hundreds of years and is so much better for your artwork!

loved the video! I got way too excited when I saw the Molotow markers! I bought some back when I was doing GCSE art and I've always loved them but I've never actually seen or heard of anyone else using them, so so excited to see the awesome things you'll create with them!

Ahh, the cracking fingers at the end! XD I always wince when people do that, haha. It was fun seeing everything you got this month! :)
"Fun" fact: sometimes your printer wont print because of the reason of "insufficient ink supply". This is a lie. Your ink cartridge still has a lot of ink inside it. You could reset the ink cartridge i think so that the printer will accept it again.
Depending on the printer model, there’s also an option to ignore "empty" cartridges that you can tick right in the menu. I loved this on my HP printer, so I didn’t have to trick it.

Those acrylic pens look really good, I'm interested to see some more art created with them. Right now I'm waiting patiently for my Kickstarter rewards for the Sketchbook of Loish to arrive. It will probably take a while to make it over to Australia though.

Hi Minnie, check out the Epson Expression Premium ET-7700 EcoTank All-In-One Inkjet Printer, it's a perfect machine for you and will save you money and pay for its self. It prints up to 11.7 x 44" -uses large ink reservoirs instead of cartridges to hold more ink - I love your channel - great place for inspiration

Try Epson L1800, I change the ink with art paper ink and use it for printing 260gsm paper, art print and double side print for wedding invitation

Looking for a photo printer is a good tip. Didn’t even cross my mind but an HD photo printer would mean a good quality art print.

I'm wondering whether yourself or other art people in the comments know of any useful resources to find out how to properly pay tax on art sales you make. The government website (UK-based) is really not helpful for someone who is full time employed and therefore already paying tax automatically through that, and would like to know what to do about paying tax on art sale profits that are outside of normal income!
If anyone has been through this and knows the score it would be so helpful! Thanks xx

hey, I have a question. I just bought the Epson EP 960 printer and whenever I use the scanner, or even just print from my iPhone the colors don't match the original at all. how do you get your images to come out like the original?

Still very much getting to grips with digital painting. It's hard having an idea of what I want something to look like but not quite knowing how to execute it. Lots of trial and error but I'll get there eventually :)

You said you might want to check out something similar to Deviant Art... I keep hearing about a similar program called “Art and Drawing Amino”... I’ve never used it, but I’ve heard really good things, does anyone know if it’s good???
UA-cam work is also work. Keeping that in mind is very important in order to avoid burnout.

Minnie Small I'm glad to hear that! Though I probably should have been clearer on that that's a general advice. A lot of artists forget that the art making time isn't the only work you do and they need to count that time to their workdays too. Maybe you could talk a little more in depth about this topic in a video? :)
600dpi and above for the scanner..
I don't know if anyone will know but my scanner is refusing to connect to photoshop, it is turned on and prepped as usual but it says it's not connected (but it is), I can scan with the app it comes with but the quality is somehow worse and is only scanning 1/4 of an image for some reason. Unlikely but anyone know the way to fix this?

I'm not sure if I'll do a full, in depth review as I really don't know much about markers but I'll definitely make a video where I use them and talk about how I'm finding them ;)
