Ground floor or 1st? It would be a lot easier to isolate the core issues of water being splashed about unnecessary. The shower area of the bathroom should be black bitumen treated and an internal dpc installed within the bathroom walls. Tile grouting should epoxed to prevent water ingress to the bedroom and external walls. The use of a ceiling fan will also aid in the evaporation of excess water.
