It just means that that is how the devs designed the game. On the same token, if creatives decide to make a game and it features people that they feel more represent the type of people they are, it doesn't mean they don't want other types of games to exist. It just means that they want their types of games to exist alongside them.

If these things come naturally and seem congruent with what is trying to be shown then any kind of diversity is welcome. However, artificial diversity to the detriment of the quality of the game, that is what I am against. We have several homosexual characters who are natural and well developed. Zevran is an example in Dragon Age. We have several well developed black characters Blade is a great example, we have great well developed trans characters, Poison is an example. You don't have to be artificial and follow an agenda to have diversity in games. When that happens it will ALWAYS feel artificial.
