Puting the 1-24/25 scale plastic model & other scale size kits even down to 1-87 scalehas always been a hobby of mine since i was 5 yrs old! All the semis, 4x4 pickup strucks civilian & military airplane, jets, helicopters, couple of heavy equipment, hotrods, & race cars.my love of these kits was the semis & helicopters! Unfortunately, I'm not set up to do my hobby! I've been out of it fer over 10yrs. Someday I hope to git into it again as I do miss it so much! I love to scratch build!
Nice work! Yep, I remember building the Ertl IH cab-overs back in the 70's, in addition to a lot of the AMT kits available at the time... Glad to see one can still find them on Ebay or the tooling being used to cast new kits... Nice to go back a build some of them again with driver-knowledge now... You've some fine examples, without a doubt.
The 3 axle Peterbilt wrecker is the baddest!!! I wish I still had mine. Now, you can't even find them anywhere. Unless you want to spend 700 dollars on one.
10-4! I'll surely do my best, driver! Here's anuther one fer ya, "Ya shake the trees & I'll rake up the leaves"! Anuther one fer the "shiney-dirty" is, "ya keep the shiney side up & the rubber side down"! Can't wait to see yer W900 Kenworth! That's my all time favorite truck, especially with the Kenworth Aerodyne sleeper. I also like the Kenworth cabovers--K100 flats & aerdynes! "Ketchya on the flip flop driver"! Ya be safe to! This's the Bionic Trucker, we gone, bye-bye!
wow you got the stepps towing peterbilt wrecker. i have it. and im not to sure if i want to build it. if i had another one i would love to do that kit ...
Very impressive collection; I have about 25 of my own but most were built when I was much younger and probably wouldn't get many comments if I were to post pictures of them
Love your collection just starting my 1/24-1/25 truck collection. Building custom Pete 359 from the revell kit. Will post it as video response if you don't mind.
Hey bud! I sure do like the video! Ya've gottuh lot of classic "old school" trucks thatchya don't even see runnin round any more! I grew up around these here ole classics! Love the plastic model kits ya got there! Those old school classics sure bring back the memories of when I used to put them together! Followed in my dad's footsteps & been driving now fer 20 yrs! Keep on truckin & be safe out there, 10-4?
Very nice work! I really like the Movin' On "In Tandem" pilot episode W900. Nice conversion on the single breather/single stack, and you have the correct striping decals.
You're quite welcome... I always enjoy seeing other's work. Now it's simply a matter of finding time and space to work in my apartment setting (I always seem to have too many irons in the fire! lol)... I AM a wee bit eager to get the project rolling, though (maybe detailing some of the missing fuel/air/harness lines that are most obvious) so I can combine it with some of my photography work that's over at Flickr. I'd certainly be posting the images... ;-)
@ffctrl I actually did the same thing; my first two models I ended up junking but saved the parts from both that weren't ruined and used someof them on the other models I still have. I might try posting pictures of them when I get some spare time
Great collection. I wish I could get round to finishing mine. I've just recently bought the Revell Sortimo show truck and the old revell electronic truck with the gravel trailer. Not sure why, I can't get done what I have got.
What's up Driver? What's going on? The Pete you are talking about, with the metal frame, started out as a Ertl mold. Before the AMT buyout Ertl had their own model line and the Pete came from that stable. Their farm implement models were, or some were released as precision kits also. I don't know how you purchased the kit, I'd love to get the whole kit myself. Wound up w/a basket case just the drive train w/motor. Anyway. Very well done kits. Let me check out the other videos, there.
@ffctrl Ya its my first time doing it so ill do a video on it and send it to you and tell me what you think but it will be a while. Hay dosnt it look it look like a White Freightliner from the 70's?.
@@BobSmith1980. I think they reissued the kit if im not mistaken the color of the truck on the box art was blue as opposed to the first issue of white still high priced
+Larry Kambouris Revel of Germany 1/25 scale wrecker the white one is the first issue(high price) blue one is the reissue but couldnt find it on e-bay. here is a link to one on e-bay. hope you can get one they are nice kits. www.ebay.com/itm/Revell-Can-Do-Peterbilt-3-axle-Wrecker-1-24-Model-Truck-kit-/252344219877?hash=item3ac0e338e5:g:CSsAAOSwZQxW5Ow7
