- Rock icon Liam Gallagher answers 73 questions while taking a brisk stroll through London's Hampstead Heath. Garbed in his traditional dress, a black parka jacket, Liam cruises through the heath, petting dogs while talking about Oasis, John Lennon, his brother, Blur, and his children.
This episode one was shot entirely in one attempt-no rehearsal, no advance peek at the questions. Having nailed it straight out of the gate, Liam walked off-legs akimbo, arms swinging side-to-side-into the midday sun.

Unironically this was probably one of the best interviews ever committed to tape. It's shot like a directed music video, Liam is a born swagger and the interviewer does his job tremendously well. Instant classic.
Born to swagger is right. Good thing he's a rock star. That walk up to the camera to start the interview would be downright weird if he's your accountant

Yeah, the interviewer still sucks, but with Liam, he was forced to make an effort to actually do his job. But, he's still not very good. He's not able to handle silence even after asking deep existential questions. As if he had a train to catch.

I know/knew Liam personally in the 90's and asked him if he wouldn't mind being interviewed by my girlfriend who was doing a thesis on live music, he agreed, so we met him in the pub in Primrose hill, north London and he spent a good 45 minutes answering her questions, top man!
Liam has to be one of the most authentic characters I've witnessed. I think he really stays true to himself with his words and actions being congruent and being the personality that he embodies, it comes off so strong that people misunderstand it. It inspires me to be true to myself!!

CLA82529 I think he does too but he doesn't seem to understand that reconciliation is a two-way street. Liam seems to believe he's completely in the right and Noel's completely in the wrong, and I wouldn't doubt for a second that the feeling's mutual. The rift between them will never heel until they both accept responsibility for the way things turned out.

I think the best word that sums up liam in a good way is loyal, he stays loyal to himself, to the fans and to his family and he never changes, that's good considering how messed up the world is just now. I really miss the 90s and the early 2000s, what a great time it was!

I met him in the 90s before their gig at Earls Court. I feel disloyal to say this but he was really kind to fans and one girl was nervous and he told her not to worry gave her a hug. He was very sweet in person.

I reckon the public perception is that Liam can be intimidating, but in this instance you can tell he just wanted to do it well. He was obliging/genial with most questions, even joking about the obvious fact he felt super hot under his parka. Glad he’s found peace and joy in his life.

This is the 1st 73 questions where the person being interviewed doesn’t seem to of seen the questions and thought of answers beforehand. Gives it edge and unpredictability that’s very rock star. Perhaps Liam planned it that way. Perhaps it was to “keep it real!”
