Hi Dominic, I've just bought on Ebay those tact switch because there was my "soft key 1" broken. So I've decide to change the 4 soft keys, and the cursor section (left, up, down, right) When I screw everything back together this is what happen when I plug on the MPC : -Only the row that has the tempo-sync, transpose, simul seq is functioning. -Soft Key 1 is now working but weirdly enough now Soft Key 2,3 are not working and Soft Key 4 does the same reaction as if i'm clicking on Soft Key 1. -If I click on play + play or weird combinaison like play play start + Locate button for exemple, it is directing me again on the row that has the tempo-sync, transpose etc Did you had any of those issues ?
Hi mate ! Congratulation for your video, I wonder how you've done this though! Hey maybe you would have a tip for me as I want to do just the same as what you've done to my own 3k ! It' s shit though rigt now cause I'm having trouble takin one of the boards off!That's the one with three screws, the one with the variation slider. I did unscrew it but it won't come off. maybe I need to do something else to it so that it comes off nice? Any idea?
Hey François, thanks for your message. I'm not quite sure what to recommend. Do you think it's glued down? My variation slider was partly glued down, so it might be that? All the best and best of luck!
@@dominicjmarkes9386 yeah, got it ! I managed to get the damn thing out, probably glue or something. Next step, some screwsfrom the main board fucked up. You just gotta be patient I suppose. But a 3 K deserves that special attention, right?
