Mine came yesterday, best phone i've ever had. Upgraded from a S20+ and i mean guys from 100% charge to 60% at 8pm, and i was taking photos, videos, Instagram, FB, linkedin posting, Downloading uploading editing videos, maps, gps, everything i usually do. Like its a mean powerhouse, don't listen to all these guys complaining about exynos, this honestly feels just as flagship as a normal S24 does.
@@lktim601 its definitely a good phone, you just have to be aware with what you do, like if you're on social media every day all day its gonna drain, if you have brightness on max..etc 100 to 80 lasts almost as long as 80-40% its crazy. i've got the battery protection set to 80% and only use 100 if i need to go out for the full day
Thank you! Last question, based on your experience could a 100 percent charge last me 7-8 hours if I do casual tasks like you do and if you have any issues whatsoever with the phone?
@@lktim601 Yeah definitely last you 7-8 hours even more, i think the one day i left my house at 9:30/10 at 100% and got home around 6 with 25/30% . and i was google maps, spotify, instagram, facebook, whatsapp, photos/videos and editing and bluetooth to my car No issues so far, i know it does get slightly warm when charging and heavy heavy use but nothing that makes me go okay this thing is overheating i need to stop.
Really enjoying mine, upgraded from s20 fe, a big difference for me. More than satisfied for an overall great phone. I did not want to pay the amount for the s24+ and I love a bigger screen, I'm a moderate phone user mostly calls, texts, emails, payments, phots and UA-cam. Will have to figure out some external storage. And a new free smartwatch is on it's way, deal with the phone. For most people it's a solid choice. So happy 🎉
upgraded from a moto g72 to the s24 fe, and im loving it, this phone feels amazing on the hand, pleasing to the eye, everything runs smooth and the battery is quite nice, definitely best mid range phone of 2024 especially if u can get it with a trade in discount (like i did)
Fun fact the price gets even better if people can wait some months they can get it much cheaper as seen with previous phones in FE series. So they can opt for the 256gb or 512gb variant.
Just got a brand new S24 FE (graphite color only) via Cricket Wireless here in the USA. Cricket is an MVNO that utilizes AT&T towers so there is plenty of coverage. The cost was only $99 for the device and $120 for 2 months of Cricket's "unlimited" plan. *So $219.99 and you must stay on Cricket for 6 months.* You don't have to keep using the $60/month "unlimited" plan after the first 2 months, the service you've already paid for. Amazing value as you don't have to come up with, say, $650 to get it and you don't need to throw $650 on your already high credit card balance! After 6 months your phone can be unlocked and you can be on your merry way.
As a user of the S23FE for a year, switching to this phone is an absolute PLUS. The S24FE gets NOWHERE near as HOT as the S23FE did, is much snappier, and the battery life IS improved! As far as cameras, they are the SAME as the S23FE BUT, the Exynos 2400e now does EXTRA processing and it takes WAY better pictures than the S23FE even in low light conditions to my experience. The performance of the Exynos 2400e vs. the Snapdragon 3 Gen 1 in the S23FE is NOT comparable - the S24FE is faster on every level even in day to day operations. Surprisingly, the 2400e performs at Snapdragon 3 Gen 2 and 3 levels and is NO slouch! Playing HEAVY games on the S24FE compared to the S23FE is a BIG difference in HEAT, performance, LACK of stumbles, and battery drain. As far as the glossy back glass, this maters little to MOST as we ALL use cases and I use a MAG-SAFE style case which I absolutely LOVE as I had on the S23FE as well. The reduced bezels IMO do make a difference and the larger display which is brighter also makes a difference for me outdoors. I've only had my S24FE for lass than a week now but, so far, it's an UPGRADE. No major heating issues, faster performance, more features, AND SEVEN years of OS updates with a battery boost to boot! Myself, I do NOT need ALL the bells and whistles the PLUS and ULTRA models have that I'll NEVER use so, to me having Samsung DEX which is HUGE for me and the performance this phone offers - it's the choice for me. I got the 256Gb model at a discount and selling my S23FE I got this phone for just over $325 US. after all is said and done - NOT BAD at all for me! As YOU stated - is this the "greatest" phone ever - absolutely NOT but, for what it offers and other features I do NOT need/use - this is a GREAT budget phone WAY better that the S23FE was hands-down! NO regrets for me as the S23FE battery life was BAD and its heating issues with the Snapdragon 3 Gen 1 even going light tasks, and the HUGE bezels!...
@@brandon5894 So far it's noticeably better and the battery section states "learning usage" but, at the end of the day in my use case I'm seeing a 10-15 sometimes more percent battery life and could be due to the larger battery. I haven't had it long enough to say but, the S24FE is NOT heating up by FAR as the S23FE with the Snapdragon 3 Gen 1 was where I'd see 2-3% drain where I'm only getting 1% doing regular tasks. The S24FE is also noticeably snappier and responsive than my S23FE was that I USED for a years time. I also like the reduced bezels and extra brightness and am using a MAG-SAFE style case, so I can attach a MAG-SAFE battery pack when needed with NO WIRES. I had the SAME setup on my S23FE. Anyway, I AM enjoying the battery boost without the HEAT my S23FE had. I ALSO like the extended OS support of SEVEN years. I SOLD my S23FE for $300 so this offsets the price of the 256Gb S24FE and have NO regrets so far. I hope this helps.
@@johnszatkowski6898 Thank for your detailed review. In South Korea, Samsung doesn't sell Galaxy S24 FE model for my country yet. I'm using S20 FE. I sometimes consider buying S23 FE, but I gave up it. I will buy S24 FE.

Coming from the S21 FE, this seems like a very natural upgrade, with 2GB more RAM (critical with all the multitasking I do) and a beefier CPU/GPU (although I will miss the Snapdragon processor in the S21 FE)
WAY better than the S23FE as I had that phone for a year. I even get better 5G signals using T-mobile here in the USA which also helps with battery life for me. At work my S23FE would only get 3bars of signal, the S24FE for me is now getting FULL bars on their ULTRA CAPACITY network even at home which of course impacts battery life! I cannot say if this is just a T-mobile thing or not but, it's a NOTICEABLE difference in my use case. I of course CANNOT confirm this on other carrier networks and is maybe a fluke for me or perhaps a T-Mobile thing - IDK.. The specs. between the two phones offer NO difference in BANDS or anything as I tried to look into this and myself, found nothing so, this may not be the case for you!
I traded in my S10 for $150 buck to get the S24 FE so the S24 FE cost $500 for me. So far the S24 FE is a huge upgrade for me especially longer battery life. I expect to use this for the next 5 years or until the battery die on me.

It looks good but i dont understand why samsung went with a lower pixel density than the a35. Comparing side by side the a35 offers more value for money than s24 Fe. My S24Fe just came in and I am seriously thinking i made a bad decision lol. Anyways i might get sold on the phone with more use. It was the 7 years of updates that got me but i am sure I'll get tired of the phone before the 5 year mark
