Love the vid! Love to see how the solar panels sits on the roof and unclips.

We have a pair of Rhinorack Heavy Duty bars bolted straight into the roof rails supplied by Ulti. The solar panel is mounted on a thin lightweight backboard, and then attached using thumbscrews to the Bars. We'll take a video on our next trip and publish here!

Probably the best video I have seen on the Ultimate trailer. Going to save so I can show to Ultimate, if I order.....

    Hi Brett.
Can you please advise name of light installed at rear and what is involved for the install?
Can you also advise details of your solar panel(s) that you have mounted on the roof of this camper (including brand name, mounting details, with brand name of (dimensions and thickness) the supporting lightweight backboard, wattage, etc.)? Pics, videos would also be good to show this detail.
At 22.32 - what is the spec of that power outlet please?
At 24.26 - what is the name/spec of the external USB chargers mounted please?
What (if any) changes would you like to this setup with time and experience since this video was taken?
    Cameron

Hi Brett, it would be great if you do a review of different usage comparison with your stockman sometime… thanks

Thanks John. I do think there is a camper lifecycle that we all go on. Partly based on the type of touring and camping we are doing, and partly based on the life journey overall.

Our Ultimate X25 has very high visibility tie down ropes. They are amazing in a blue and white striped colour. Ultimate should be able to supply these to anyone.

One more question guys. Where did you get the bags for your food that you had in your the spare room in this vid?

They are Snow Peak Gear Containers - UG-080 - Check with Adventure Curated or Toms Outdoors to see if they can get them for you in Australia. Otherwise checkout Snow Peak themselves - www.snowpeak.com/collections/gear-bags/products/bib-case-ug-080

Hi Brett, what reverse camera have you got hooked up to your trailer? We are looking to swap the wireless one included in our build to hardwired option (so it connects to our head unit in our vehicle). Let me know if you would recommend it or not

Here's the type of camera I've used on all my camper trailers:
      www.mongoose.com.au/mc10-pal-ahd-rear-view
      www.mongoose.com.au/ptt2-1-camera-trailer-coupler
Definitely recommend. They've worked really well for me. Would recommend working with your installer to get everything matched to your headunit. I use Custom Off Grid Solutions in Brisbane.

Great video. How long does that set up and pack down take with all the additional rooms etc?

Thank you, and great question Wayne; I always take it slow and setup it up over a couple of hours as I'm usually in "base camp" mode when I'm using all this gear. It's probably an hours actual effort to set this up as you see it for a single person. I did the trailer in about 15 minutes, and the rooms are just velcro and zips, which is quick - probably another 15 minutes, and then add on the time to put down ground sheets and peg them out. I'll have to do a timelapse sometime of a "focussed" setup and pack down...

I reckon I need to redo this video with MUCH BETTER audio... Seems like a good excuse to go camping again!!!
