2023 Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Day at the GTU

The Interreligious Chaplaincy Program (ICP) hosted the annual GTU CPE Day on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. The annual virtual program was held in collaboration with The Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) Certified Training Centers of the Pacific Community of Practice. Thirteen ACPE training sites participated in the program which was attended by students and GTU's Consortium Field educators.
Dr. Kamal Abu-Shamsieh, ICP director, and Rev. Marissa Danney, ACPE educator at the Shaw Institute for Chaplaincy, coordinated the event. The annual program takes place on the third Wednesday in October and prior to Reading Week at the GTU.
