The Philadelphia 76ers lost in just the first round in 2024, but they will be a massive threat in the Eastern Conference next season. They’ll have anywhere between $55-$65 million in cap space that they can use to chase a star like Paul George or build a more well-rounded roster, Tyrese Maxey has jumped to all-star status and proved to be a massive contributor in the NBA playoffs, and when Joel Embiid played, the 6ers were 31-8 in the regular season.

Lifelong Sixers fan (turn 44 in 3 days). I agree with the premise of this video. Although supposedly the Nets have indicated they’re not interested in trading Mikal Bridges. I’d say go after Alex Caruso and Andre Drummond. But I’d rather stay away from Zach Lavine’s contract. Honestly, I’m not optimistic. Which is frustrating because Embiid and Maxey are among the most exciting players the Sixers have had in the past 35 years.

Paul George is an inevitable acquisition at this point. As long as he accepts his place as a 3rd option, I'm okay with that. Caruso from the Bulls is a must-get.

This video is dead on . With the exception of Bridges . The Nets have no interest of trading him . Dejounte Murray is the trade to make as a second ball handler and distruster . They then can sign wings and keep Lowry as back up veteran to help coach . PG is not a reality the new NBA cap rules .

I still remember when we drafted Bridges, but then we traded him for a soda and a bag of chips. That was a horrible decision.

The sixers have the BEST center in basketball for about 8-9 years? And they still can’t win anything!!! They brought in a burnt out Doc Rivers to coach and got nothing in four-five years!!! Here’s what is wrong with this franchise. ONE TO MANY OWNERS!!! To many dumb trades, no legitimate backup center, to many players on the team no other teams wants, to many players not defensive minded!!! They really believe getting a new arena will solve their losing ways. 😏

Doesn't matter who they get. If they can't win without Embid, it's a fail. You can count on him to be injured in time for the playoffs. We have seen this time and time. They need to think about a trade.
I could see Embiid trip over a trig and break both legs....He Ming all over again...Ming was in better shape though...Embiid needs to stay away form fatburger for breakfast...If he lost about 30 to 40 pounds it would do wonders for his career going forward....
Maxey, role players, and Embiid at 60% is not enough to get past the 2nd rd. Get PG

Embiid is a walking injury....He is going North of 30 years old with legs of a 40 year old..

PG Unlucky 13 wasn't scary with Westbrook & Carmelo, Kawhi or with Kawhi, Harden and Westbrook.
PG Unlucky 13 at 34 Years Old is Totally Overrated and is nolonger a Star, but just a Really Good 3&D Wing not much better than Jerami Grant at this point of his career.
Everyone isn't All Time Greats aging like Fine Wine like LeBron, KD and Curry. Now the Sixers will only be scary if they get LeBron & Alex Caruso to pair with Embiid, Maxey and Kelly.
That would be Straight-up Terrifying for the NBA and especially LeBron Haters plus Embiid Haters.
I'm not a Sixers fan, but I know who Daryl Morey is, and I already know what he's gonna do, and it's this.
Sign Paul george to the absolute max, like the most he's allowed to offer and more like he's gonna ask for a loan and take out a mortgage to pay the *ABSOLUTE* max for Paul george... and then overpay a bunch of minimum level guys to like 11-17 mill each because why not. 😂
There's no logic for Morey. Instead of strategically getting guys like Bridges and depth, Morey is always on the hunt for big names because that's his philosophy that's big name players wins championship, so don't expect anything smart from him.
76ers may end the season with a good team record, but Embiid likely will get injured again and Paul george is gonna choke again (Embiid chokes too) and Maxey is the last man standing fending for himself in the playoffs.
And then again, Sixers fans are gonna complain how Embiid always hurt, Paul george choked, team has no depth, off with Morey head!

We’ll see what happens. I don’t see how they’re gonna win a chip in what’s left of Embiids prime. Every team in the last decade to win has been together for enough time, years, to really gel. The Sixers are going to revamp the entire roster again for like 10th time in 10 years.
Here’s what’s going to happen. Morey will give Paul George a Super Max. Maxey will get a max extension. And then they’ll be no more money left to get anything but vet minimums. George will slowly decline and his contract will look awful in two years. Maxey will be hitting his prime. Embiid will also start declining. A couple of years of second round exits. Team blow ups. Maxey gets traded. Electric Boogaloo the Process 2.

I agree that Bridges would be the perfect addition but for a reason you didn’t mention: he has shown flashes of being able to step into a lead role if needed. Brooklyn has exposed him as a guy who can’t be the No. 1, but if/when Embiid gets hurt, a duo of Maxey and Bridges would keep up above .500 instead of struggling to stay near there like this year
The sixers , notorious for flopping in the playoffs the last 6 seasons, led by Joel Embiid who until the 2024 postseason has always underperformed in the playoffs. What’s the answer for a team that has underperformed the last few years? Bring in Wayoff P, who has been flopping in the playoffs as well. I can’t wait until next years playoffs to see who takes the blame more between PG and Embiid when they choke

Embiid has always performed in the playoffs just always gets injured and has never had more then one reliable player if he had another reliable player some depth pieces nurse would be able to give him a similar workload he gave kawhi
