ever since gan shrunk the torpedoes to make space for the corner-core mags their cubes have been more prone to popping. I rmb before that gancubes used to be the hardest to pop. It seems they are trying to reverse it though because the gan 12 & 13 have thicker torpedoes than the 11, and the 14 seems to have even thicker ones (but funnily enough it pops the most). I dont understand why gan has a problem with this when other companies with coremags dont experience the same issue. aside from pops, the plastic seems to become more brittle very quickly, hopefully they fix it and it's not some planned obsolescence on their part
Im pretty sure some gan 12s are defective. I had one that exploded like this every so often and i decided to get another one since my times on it were good. I bought a new one and it has never popped.
As a cuber, i like to keep my desk nice and tidy, but I don’t know how professional cubers can just leave there ENTIRE SETUP of cubes scattered along a desk and random parts everywhere and for some reason A WII REMOTE, and not think of how unorganised they are. Tip use the cube boxes e.g the Yuxin mgc boxes and elevate some cubes to make more room and put them on a stand to ig make it more appealing and ✨ pretty ✨

gan 12 is not as good as many people think, here I had it, but it is not the main cube, vrm v9 in my opinion is the best cube so far
