KAMAN POST Baramulla | India Pakistan Border

Kaman Post Uri is located at the end of North Kashmirs District Baramula. This is the last point of National Highway NH44. Kaman post has a bridge which connect Srinagar Muzaffarabad Highway at Kaman post uri. The Highway of Kashmir Provence starts from this point (kaman pots) and ends at Qazigund. Cakoti is 2 km away from this point. This highway was build by Mughal Empires.
This Highway was playing very important role for trade between India and Pakistan. A bus service between Srinagar Muzafferabad was also part of this route. Both bus service and the trade was suspended in 2019 after URI attack. In present time this bridge is used for exchange sweets by the Army of both countries.
