Abhishek Bacchan is the most humble child of a movie star. Both of his parents are great actors, Amitabh has been called "Star of the Millennium" and even his grandparents Harisvanshray (very famous Hindi poet) and Teji (Freedom Fighter)were well known people. But he has seen the hard side of reality when his father went bankrupt. People have been very harsh to him from telling he is not good looking, doesn't look like a hero and many other mean things. They just amplified when he married Aishwarya, people started saying she deserved better and she is a big star. But actually he is a good actor - Yuva, Bunty aur Babli, Bluff master being some of them.
Abhishek Bachchan is actually quite an underrated actor. He's versatile; whether you see him in comedy, drama, or action, he always does a good job. Poor guy is just always overshadowed by his father. Please react to his song 'Dus Bahane' from the movie, Dus. That movie sucks but this song is lit. Please react to that.

First of all, the palace in this song was very near to my home (madurai). This song was shot when i m studying 6th standard. I remember the crowd in my streets to see Aishwarya and Bachan.
Whenever i had a headache or depression i hear this song, this musical medicine relieves my depression quickly and make me feel life is awesome.

for your information Aishwarya Rai has just begun shooting for same director ( Mani Rathnam) and of course the music is composed by A R Rahman and it's an epic historical drama .
I don't know about others but I liked Abhisheh very much in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. I think his chemistry with Rani in the film was equally as good as with Ash here - if not better. I'd love to see you react to the 'Kacchi Kaliyaan mat Todo' song from the film. It is such a fun, delightful song. I also love the Hum toh aise Hain Bhaiya song(you can't go wrong with Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan together in a song) and the title song too.

This song has been shot in our Mannar Thirumalai Nayakkar Mahal situated in our temple City Madurai. Director Maniratnam used to do his all shootings within India only. Aishwarya Rai is always a great dancer and a wonderful beauty.

Lil' B's first choice of films were films where you was supposed to act and especially dance like his dad, and he failed miserably. After that he did quite a few films like Bluffmaster and dus which were fantastic film, but not films which had any gravitas. They were just fun films. And he did a bunch of films which are multistarrers (he claimed in a recent Ludo interview that he's done the most multi starrer films). But this also meant he didn't get a lot of focus in many of his films. He's a very good comedic actor, some of his best films would be bunty aur Babli with rani Mukherji, delhi-6, manmarzia with Anurag Kashyap, guru, dum Maro dum, yuva, and before I forget - BLUFFMASTER.
What's interesting is that in his first few films he was made to dance like his dad, and people didn't like the outcome. He was thought to be too stiff or too tall or whatever. It feels nice to see someone call him a better dancer than Big B. (Just a little bit better) 😁

I think he's a good actor and is charismatic as well. Its just that people prefer Kaho na pyar hai or Bang Bang to Yuva and Guru.
Although he can never be as good as his dad but who can be? No other actor, even Irrfan Khan, Pankaj Tripathi etc have as many iconic roles in the history of Indian cinema.
Aishwarya chose him for a reason, he has a it factor.

Bruh, it’s not about taking the words literally but contextually. If I’d subbed ‘mistress’ or ‘another woman’ it would’ve taken their attention from the song and visuals to the ‘word’ . It’s a playful use of word not a literal. Even in the song. The most playful I could come was sister in law in English

I was watching PK with subs the other day and they'd totally butchered the dialogues, which I have to guess is part of why Korbin couldn't connect with the film as much. Bhojpuri was turned to Hindi. "Why is my personal life being discussed here?" was turned to "please spare my personal life", which is not commensurate with the emotions and expressions Anushka displays on screen. I get it, it's very difficult and at times impossible to retain certain things in translation but we gotta be as faithful as we can.
