Wow I'm gonna need some serious money if I want to buy all this ! O.O Awesome video !!! Thank you for being you ! I just love that you're confident enough to express what you love in manga without being afraid of being judged by this new generation of shojo fans who only focus on labelling stuff and see everything as "toxic"... Watching you was refreshing and fun ! Keep up the good work !
My general stance is that people can read whatever they want. I'm an adult who can make informed decisions on the things I read. When I talk about series that may have polarizing topics/story elements, I make sure to mention them so people are aware of what each story is about. Then they can make informed decisions on their own.
So psyched for Condition Called Love, Last Game, and What He Who Doesn't Believe in Fate Says!! and might check out Call in the Name of the Night and She's My Knight too...
i stumbled upon this video by accident and starting SCREAMING ASDJKLJJSK Last Game & Hibi Chouchou - my childhood favorites!!!!! getting licensed!!! how ive waited for years!!! This made me want to go back to reading manga again 😭😭😭 I JUST WANTED TO SAY ILY THANK U FOR THIS
As someone who's read Marmalade Boy for the first time recently, the stepbrother thing isn't thaaaaaat weird for the most part (although she does push it), but there's also a student/teacher relationship between tomorrow side characters. so just beware if that's something you don't like (it tanked it for me honestly). I'm excited for A Condition Called Love, How I Met My Soulmate, Hibi Chou Chou, Last Game, and releases for more later volumes in series haha. I'm also intrigued to try Oshi no Ko, but I'm not sure.
Good to know about Marmalade Boy! The student teacher thing doesn’t bother me (I mean it DOES, but it doesn‘T break a series for me esp if it’s side characters)
I'm super excited about a bunch of these, especially My Girlfriend's Child, Mystery to Iunakare, and Last Game! I hadn't heard of she's my knight before, and I do like an unconventional kind of couple story so I'll probably check that out too! Goodbye Eri is definitely very different than the kinds of stories you talk about on your channel, but I do think it's an incredibly good one shot. If you do end up picking it up, I hope you enjoy it!
I think Goodbye Eri being a one shot is making it more appealing. Anything that’s “edgy Shonen” that goes for several volumes isn’t very appealing. But I might be able to handle a one shot!
