Some students of the Business Administration programme at our Brussels Campus sent us a request this year to sponsor Fanyatu's project in the Congo Basin. Fanyatu is an NGO focussed on inspiring, training and taking action to regreen Africa through permaculture.
The forests of the Congo Basin are a lung for our the planet and an essential reservoir of biodiversity. Like many forests they are threatened by deforestation, a phenomenon that is accelerating as population increases.
Hence, our faculty has decided to help Fanyatu plant a forest in the region, more specifically to sponsor a tree for every single student who gradates at our faculty in 2022-2023. They will receive information with the exact location of our forest.
