    As an Estate manager in a serviced complex for expatriates we had this kind of problem a couple of times when the main generator broke down completely and took a
    week to fix. What you need is an auxiliary generator to power basic service until the main generator is fixed. It's an absolute necessity if you want 24/7 power in Lagos.

      @gidistays  6 місяців тому +1

      Hi Fred, ah really..wow a whole week 😭 Everything just sounds so complicated lol! Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into how that auxiliary generator works. Hope one day soon all of these generators won't be needed anymore. Thanks for watching!

    There is more stable electricity in Abuja.
    I wonder why Lagos is still having load shedding. That's bad.

      Ah really.. I wonder why there is a difference.. I have absolutely no clue how all these electricity things work lol!

    Beautiful!❤ Nigeria has no government, the word government in nigeria is a disgrace to hardworking government in other coutries.The only thing Nigerian government is good at is corruption and looting the country treasury dry.A country where the government is not even working to provide basic amenities like water,electricity,good roads,yet they want people to come and invest..lnvest in darkness and bad roads? If you try and say something, it is the same nigerians you are fighting for that would attack you.There are Nigerians living in other african countries,but you dont see much Africans living in Nigeria.Why is that?Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa yet can not compete with cities like kigali,nairobi,dar el salam,cairo.What and where is the revenue going then?Thank you.

      You’re right. Hopefully things changes in the future but we cannot fix our problems by running to other countries. We all have a role to play regardless but until then, religion and politics are ruling.
      Keeping the citizens poor is their only power but slowly folks are liberating themselves from financial hardship. When the government can’t control them with money anymore, they’ll start impressing. It will only take time but changes will happen for sure.
      Most families overseas condemning Nigeria cannot simply afford bringing their family home for visit. It’s super expensive to buy flight tickets, pay for accommodations, transportation, food and also get time off from work. It’s a lot of stress to plan, so most families will rather just send money home and live there forever. The richest black man and other rich Nigerians are back home and barely travel overseas if not for work.

    Big ups Gidistays. A quick one, do you know how to speak pidgin English?

    • @gidistays
      @gidistays  6 місяців тому +1

      I didn’t grow up hearing the Pidgin English language but now over the years (spending a lot of time here) you automatically start to understand it. I wouldn’t say I speak it though lol.

    Is Amazon operational in Nigeria, delivering items directly to your doorstep?

    • @gidistays
      @gidistays  6 місяців тому

      Yes, you can select Nigeria as location (at the top of the page) and then you’ll see the items that can be shipped to Nigeria. It’ll be delivered by a 3rd party courier service like DHL for example

    Where do I buy the cockroach repeller please?

    • @gidistays
      @gidistays  6 місяців тому

      Are you here in Nigeria? I get it at the supermarket but they don’t have it all the time: SPAR, Shoprite and Prince Ebeano is where I found it. It is really good as it’ll also kill the tiny cockroaches and ants. You can also find it on Jumia. It is called SNIPER Cockroach killer: kol.jumia.com/api/click/custom/e6836303-71a9-4377-8e0e-df7cdbaa421f/306ad549-764c-349e-a497-cdd2d98c349a?r=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.jumia.com.ng%2Fsniper-cockroach-killer-4packs-230086933.html
