How lovely on this day of miserable weather to see the opening shots of Bath Square and my favourite pub. I I often get a drink from the Spice Island and sit on the point watching the water traffic. Wightlink car ferry to Isle of Wight docks right beside the point. It was great to see the inside of the Round Tower and some other places I can no longer access because of mobility issues. ❤
I grew up in Portsmouth in the 60s and have learned more about the city's history from this one video than I did in 12 years of education. Thank you. However, shame on the education system that failed to teach children the history of our great city.
I love to walk round Portsmouth and it is a nice place to walk round and see what history of a navy port and the building and it feels like having a good time and seeing all the ships and ferries and island of wright and the warrior
I have to say Portsmouth looks a lot cooler at night time using drones. Still epic here, and a cracking video, but the towers look amazing with some lights around
I was born & bred in Portsmouth. The comments about IBM and Zurich are not accurate as IBM arrived in the mid 1970's at a site near North Habour. The building was near Cosham's KG V playing fields.
Hello how are you interested vidio you were in Stamford last week have you never been to burhley park and Burnley house they are very interesting and the horse trails are there once a year in September stay safe xx from Lynn

A great look at old Pompey.
Thank you for the wonderful tour! Such a beautiful city.
I love Portsmouth. Both of my children went to university there and I used to visit a lot. I last did a day trip last year.
Im a pompey boy now living in Western Australia, I made many trips back from 2014 and would go about as a tourist just to re-see my childhood
Outstanding presentation. Thank you for sharing and the effort involved. Brilliant! Subbed 👏🏻

Outstanding history, I had no idea. Naval Museum......a video would be fascinating.
Is it crazy I'm just here to get some background before I start my Portsmouth fc career save lmao 😂
Beautiful video of my home, City 🙏👍
Home sweet home.
Gunwharf was never a storage facility, it was a naval base, HMS Vernon, a minesweeper establishment.
A highly populated are but I haven't seen a soul around..just saying.. lovely though ❤

The house is now a museum.
