A+++++++ video! You have one of the top papercrafting UA-cam channels I’ve ever seen. Such incredibly useful and creative information! Your product recommendations are the BEST. I’m STILL going through the list from just the last video of yours and ordering the ones I want, which is a LOT! And I don’t do that for anyone else. Keep it up! You should be crossing 100,000 subscribers soon. Please add in product recommendations with affiliate links to all your videos. With someone who does such high quality work to show people like me what is possible, I really want to help support you and I’ll be buying stencils and inks and all that fun stuff all the time anyway so it might as well help you, too, to keep you around and doing more videos!
Oh my gosh, where do I begin? Great tips and techniques! Thank you! But the big question is....how many stencils do you own? Would love to come and get inky at your house!!! Thanks again JD!
Fabulous video, JD. I have to pin this in my technique folder because it's such a great reference to have. And now, I need more stencils! I love the foil technique but I also love the shimmer technique you did on your cityscape!
This stencil use compilation was fabulous! I am a mixed media person who goofs around with all kinds of ideas then forgets how I did most of them; once I have a block of time to get back into it. This is especially true because I work outside and inside of the home. Thank you.
Loved it! So many ideas here. I also have a Crayola art spray gun and would love to see what I could do with that. I use it with stencils, but sometimes cannot think of more creative ways to use it. It uses the Pipsqueak markers.
Great stencil technique video. I'm new to your channel. Is there any reason why you don't mention the company name for the products you use. You only mentioned Honey Bee for scene building in this video. The name of the product & company would be great in case someone wants to buy it. I saw at least 5 stencils I would love to add to my stash. Tfs
Wow! So many awesome tips and tricks! I love how you use stencils. I never have done that. I only have used stamps. I can't wait to give some of these a try. Thank you for sharing
Hello JD! Wow this video was AMAZING to watch! You showed so many different ways to use stencils! I didn't know that there were layered stencils! Like the one you did with the layering affect for the flowers! That turned out gorgeous! I am completely new to card making! So you have now given me some really fun ideas that I am now going to have to try out! And of course now am going to have to buy me some stencils! HaHa! Uh oh! Hubby will be soooo happy about that! Thank you for sharing and teaching us such amazing techniques!
One thing I do is that after I emboss with a stencil, I leave it attached to my cardstock, and then ink over it. End result is the raised areas have color, and the debossed areas remain white. You can also add color to texture pastes or stencil pastes for a similar effect.
Love these ideas! Especially the glitter paste and the glitter embossing you did! 😍 ok... I love them all...And now I need to go buy some stencils... 😂 Where do you like to get your stencils? You have a lot of really cool ones!
Hey JD!! Wow this video is AMAZING!! I love how all these great stencil techniques are tied into one video. Honestly I don't have one certain favorite, I love them all! Stencils are one of the best products to have in our stash, in my opinion 😀 They are so inexpensive and sooo versatile! I do not own very many stencils yet!! I'm kinda a newbie so I'm slowly building up my stash. Thank you SO much for this awesome video, seriously, you did an amazing job on this❤️ I always look and wait for your next video, I always learn so much for you.

Hi JD, I found this video very informative...and wow!! I learned a lot of great things to do with stencils...clever girl!! Love the video. However I have been looking for good stencil brushes. You have excellent looking ones. Where can I find them?Could you post a link? Thanks!
Lots of great techniques. I love that blue embossing power you used. It's very nice of you to be doing such a generous give away won the Stamp Junkies page. Have a lovely day. Thanks so much.
Stencil is a lot of fun!! Your card stencil toppers are Fab!! My favorite would be mix media with stencils. Like paint and ink combined. It give's lot of texture. Awesome tutorial thank you.
What wonderful ideas! Thanks for sharing them. I haven't used stencils very much, but I'll be trying some of your ideas. I love the stencil layering. Carla from Utah
WOW! What a great video chock full of awesome tips! Very helpful for a beginner crafter like me! I imagine it’s helpful for skilled advanced crafters as well...new ideas equals more creativity! Thanks for sharing! Liked & subscribed!
Great tutorial! I have been seeing stencils pop up everywhere lately! The patterns/designs are definitely more refined than when I last used them! Question - if you use the tack spray to hold the stencil, could you reuse it again with the next card (if you wanted to repeat the background on some more cards) or as it has ink on it as well, the stencil should be washed/clean with each card?
Hello! I just would like to ask, where can you purchase the long blending brush for the Easy Ombre at 11:07? Thank you for providing this wonderful tutorial! The ideas are great and inspiring! 💖
I just ran across this video and really enjoyed it...Thank you! Hope you're playing along with us at the CAS Stencil Challenge Blog: casstencil.blogspot.com/
I LOVED your UA-cam and all the hints and techniques you showed us. However, would you be able to place the finished piece on the mat and leave it for a second so that we could really see what you've created? A couple of times you pushed it out of the way before we could really see the finished piece. I know you don't want the UA-cam to be too long, but we need to see the end result of your work. It would be wonderful to have a follow-up UA-cam where you showed us the cards you create using the stencilled backgrounds you create for us. That would be great! However, I did love it and appreciate your knowledge. I'm now inspired to get my stencils out and use them again.
Hi! So inspired by all your techniques. Especially helpful since stencils are so affordable. What stencil brush do you use? Couldn't find it in the supply list on your blog. Thanks!
You're the winner! (send me an email and or fb message) so I can get your address! Be sure to turn the notification button on for my channel because I will definitely run more of these giveaways!)
Hi. Thank you for sharing these techniques. I have been searching for the scalloped stencil that is shown when you video begins. Can you please tell me the brand and name of the stencil. Thank you!! 😊
What is the name of the layered floral stencil - I see where it came from, but I don’t want to wade through 105 pages looking for it. Thanks! Love all of these techniques.
I cannot pick a favorite from your video. they were all fantastic. I do think the city on the black cardstock is the prettiest one tho! Thanks for sharing these techniques. I enjoy all your videos !
I really haven't used stencils before but I love everything you've demonstrated in this video. So glad I've seen it, now I'm off to source some stencils and get creative! :-)
Lots of great ideas on this video! Wow! I have a lot of stencils and never use them because I have no ideas! Your video gave me a bunch of new ideas that I can’t wait to try! Thank you!
I can never get a good blended effect using distress inks even if I saturate my foam applicator with ink and press really hard. If anyone has any tips I’d be very grateful!
So glad I found this video! Terrific tips, video and demos very skillfully done from start to finish! Can’t wait to try some of these and especially appreciate tip to put the tape under the stencil edge instead of on top. New subscriber here!!
Ive found that a great stencil material which is easy to die cut (as I find most acetates dont seem to cut very easily) pop an empty laminating sheet through the laminater so it hardens-cuts like a dream, ive built all my scenic stencils

Amazing stencil ideas! Can’t wait to try some of these ideas!! Do you have a list of your stencils you used?
Hi, loved all the different ways you demonstrated using stencils. I'm wondering how you store your stencils...probably a silly question.
I personally use a binder with clear plastic sleeves.
So excited and inspired. Would my normal laminate machine work for the foil technique?
So glad I found this video! Terrific tips, video and demos very skillfully done from start to finish! Can’t wait to try some of these and especially appreciate tip to put the tape under the stencil edge instead of on top. New subscriber here!!

Great tips! Love my stencils and looking forward to some new techniques!
Murphy's oil soap is great for removing paint etc from brushes, stencils, stamps etc.
Use that spray adhesive through the stencil, remove stencil then dust paper with glitter or embossing powder.
Wow! JD, what a great video! Thanks for all the great ideas!
Ive found that a great stencil material which is easy to die cut (as I find most acetates dont seem to cut very easily) pop an empty laminating sheet through the laminater so it hardens-cuts like a dream, ive built all my scenic stencils
