i have searched the internet over and I always come back to this ship. It is the most beautiful yacht I have ever seen. Both inside and out. The woodwork is just over the top....
Hi Tony, And thank you for this show of this 123 Palmer Johnson a real Super Yacht. A great American build boat with the extra wide body at the salon for more space well equipt gally I like the bedrooms and the beautiful guest heads in all those bedrooms with the marble great Thanks again Tony and till next week
The interior décor is rich but tasteful. I really liked the layout of the spacious flybridge, especially with the seperation from the functional boat deck.
I love how deep the fly seating is but instead of a solid wall at the upper portion, there is a smoked glass strip all around. Privacy feel but still a view. Excellent. 😎
This one had me at hello. What a looker. Where would I put the telescopes.... I want one of these so I could go where I want to observe the night skies. Love this one. Stunning paint job. Wow.
Good looking vessel. The exterior still looks great. The interior is a tad outdated primarily in the salon area, the rest is fairly timeless. Made is the USA B4 PJ moved to Monaco.
this boat has aged incredibly well, many smart choices in the modernizing as well. one thing it’s really lacking is a comfortable forward lounging area on the bow. underway those are really popular.
Temptation is 123-1. Built at the Savannah, GA. facilities in 2004. After the Savannah closure, the incomplete hull #2 (BB3 ex. Muse) and hull #3 (Black Sheep ex. Ocean Drive) we’re shipped to Sturgeon Bay, WI. for completion years later.
Thanks for that information! It was hard to find a lot of build information on this one. I believe the company no longer operates in the US and builds custom orders from Europe.
@@YachtAddiction 123 info is is relatively hard to find, as they were somewhat launched and delivered without any mention. Palmer Johnson is sadly no longer in the US since Timur ended operations in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. I believe they have finally built a 63’ boat in Pisa. It only took 6 1/2 years to produce a boat since the closure of the Sturgeon Bay facilities. Any new boat produced isn’t truly a Palmer Johnson. The heritage is gone. Any new boat(s) are just boats with the PJ name on them.
Very nice yacht Tony, thank you for another excellent tour, this would certainly be a nice yacht to charter for a few weeks, great layout and nicely finished,
i dont mind the pace but would really like a nice view of rhe exterior. all i know is that its 2 tone. prob sweet looking but who knows...... maybe a drone flyover or something...
Hello, très belle présentation, merci beaucoup. Le bateau offre des possibilités mais je trouve l'intérieur trop classique. Avec votre expérience, avez-vous déjà vu un bateau adapté et accessible en fauteuil roulant? Merci à bientôt
This would be a nice boat for perhaps someone new to a big boat. I love the layout and much of the outside. There is one thing I noticed right off the bat, is how do you hang your fenders off the side when there is no walkway to get to any of the ones towards the stern. I'm also surprised on how small the closets were in the master bedroom. We have a walk-in on our current boat. The helm area is similar to our boat except we have a sky lounge instead of a completely open flybridge. I captain our boat when our friends come aboard if they are new to our boat I give a complete speech on safety and do and don't on board. Once away from our doc most of the time all the guys come up to the pilot House and hang out in the sky lounge especially if it's extremely hot. I think this boat does have great potential for somebody. The one absolute favorite thing I liked was the refrigeration. We have already added that to our next boat. As it is when we go out for a long time I'm talking weeks and sometimes months we have to store a large amount of our food down in the crew quarter since they have a full size refrigerator freezer down there. The one thing you learn quickly on a boat of any size you have to have two things. First you have to have fuel if you are on a motor yacht second is food. Yes we can go grocery shopping at our different destinations. I'm just not comfortable buying raw food outside of the United States. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video and share it. From videos like yours is where we get some ideas on what we want on our next boat. We buy every 2 years or so that way you don't lose as much value as if you would go three or four years. As with automobiles boats do appreciate especially if you have a lot of hours on your mechanical equipment. Again enjoyed your video look forward to watching the next one.
@@YachtAddiction Ocean Alexander’s 32L what we love is the sky lounge. We have held on to this one longer than other ones that we have had in the past. There's things we want different and we have started a list on what additional things we want on our next one. We are definitely going with the bigger refrigerator and freezer. We don't mind if we lose a cabinet or two.
@@davidfrank2824 I really like OA Yachts! I have videos on most of their newer lineup including the 32L. Have you looked at the 35R? That's my favorite in the lineup. I have a tour of it on the channel from when it debuted at FLIBS 2021. I believe it had an extra full size fridge/freezer in the galley.
Another great video but I must admit sometimes you need to slow down a bit the camera is bouncing around to much shame they didn't give you the draft, ( I checked the website and they didn't have it) draft and range are very important to me. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Awesome Yacht! 4 queen/king size beds are awesome but I'm not sure how functional that would be for kids. Perhaps one of the rooms should have 2 singles that could power together to make up the queen bed.
You say this ship normally carries six crew besides the captain what crew are there? Also, one thing I noticed in every video I ever watched why isn’t there any recliners? If I am going to sit down and watch a big screen TV comfortable, I definitely would like a recliner.
Unfortunately the shipyard that built this particular yacht was closed in 2015. Burger Shipyard is one last big great Shipyards in Wisconsin besides Carver yachts.
The deck NICE swimming in 5000 ft deep waters change People quickly gotta do 35 knots 50 high cruise. . When ya in Brazil and gotta get too Monaco in three four days it's " gotta motor, Time, dead in water 💦 is a hardship ...
Well, there is something to be said about American yacht design, especially the interior one. The European designers often produce beautiful things but they always feel as if it was a hotel. The American yachts I've seen do have, for the most part, a much more homely feel to them. Frankly, that is funny to me because all the American houses I have seen do not feel so homely at all.
Great video, I do like how you don't open every cabinet, and stay in one area to long. I would like to see more of the galley on freezer and fridge space, more details on the bridge house and the engine room. If I may say, you should study more about boats like the main parts of them because I don't feel like you know alot about them. You never mentioned the steering or if it had stabilizers on it, what size the generators are, and I believe if you slowed down just a little bit and talk more about the main parts in detail that you could have the best boat viewing channel that every boat broker would want to have someone like you to show off their boats. An if you can, ask the broker if they have video footage of the boat actually going in the water to add in your videos to put at the beginning. We can tell alot about the bottom and the front of the hull seeing it going through cutting or pushing the water. I know everyone has their own opinion about everything and alot of times about a third are correct. Listen to those people and you should be great. See you on your next video buddy.
Looks gorgeous. Unfortunately Palmer Johnson has gotten a spotty reputation as of late. But still, doesn't bely the fact that this a gorgeous yacht with tons of style and best of all is laid out in a practical manner and a logical one.
The name lives on with the SuperSport models built in Europe, but essentially they are completely different than this version of Palmer Johnson. Thanks for watching!
It is a fairly nice boat. The price seems right. Way way too much wood. The fly bridge is an example of the colors that should of been used throughout. Just when I thought the interior couldn't get worse, the closet doors in the cabins reveiled knotty pine glazed what looked like plywood sheets used for the back of the closet. Even the TV's had wood frames. Reminded me of my family's bush camp those frames did. The space they ate up could have been more productively been used for larger TV's. To top all that off was all the gold. The taps, shower heads, glass door surrounds. Aweful. The helm looked up to date with the latest electronics. A double seat would have been nice. Not a fast boat but does offer decent range. Cats are great engines offering a good lifespan. There is room with that price. Double that savings and it could cover an overall of the interior. At the very least, a much needed update.

I agree with John, Tony please slow down a bit. Wanted to see more of the bridge and engine room. Thank you

I give credit to the crew for their sparkling cleaning and maintenance well done 👏👏👏

Stunning yacht, both inside and out.
I thought so too!

more shining now than when was new..

Love the grey hull. Comfortable boat.

I also thought the flybridge was great!
The intertior design is ugly! Very old fashion! Nothing to compare to Italian designs!
@@Francedefence In your opinion.
classy ship. Love all the gloss wood veneer. Makes you actually feel like you're on a yacht :)
I really enjoyed being on this one! Perfect to enjoy as an owner but also great to charter!

Typical early 00s styling. Beautiful vessel.

Lots to like on this one!
Such a well cared for yacht. Good job.
It definitely is well taken care of, thank you!
You're right - the ensuites are pretty spectacular!
Thanks for watching!
The back of a yacht is known as the "stern" FYI. The galley design is great and the crew access to it is one of the best.
Give Tony a break! He's young he'll learn. Well done Tony we know where you are onboard .Too many puddle pirates! Giving advice.
I love this boat and it’s layout. This would be perfect for my family and allow us to travel for our vacations. Thank you for showing this boat to us.
I’m glad you liked it!

what a beautiful yacht--it looks substantial and not plastic and it doesn't show it's. age at all

Glad you enjoy them!
Great tour. Such a classy yacht. Thank you.

I don't think I ever saw such shiny wood varnish. I guess rich folks are really serious about luxury
Love the boat :) love crew attention to detail with the flowers and bedroom x
Glad you loved it!
You are one of few boat channels to correctly identify the 'aft deck'.
For some bizarre reason many others refer to it as the 'cockpit'.
Kinda like watching a video of special forces doing room clearing. Was fun, thank you.

11:19 they missed a chance to give the master head a sweeping wrap around window. Instead it's just a blank surface.
Those just came up for me today & the heading is $7,500,000. I don't think this boat is only 7&1/2 million dollars.
Is the term 'raised pilot house' interchangeable
with Flybridge, or do they differ?

Sorry about that, they are aggressively slanted!
