It is always fun to shop with you and I love that you went to Thrift stores this time. You give great suggestions for what to look for. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with all the clutter (OCD neat freak that I am) and end up walking out totally exhausted from the experience......that and I really don’t like to shop....in person. I’m a great on line shopper though. Thanks and Blessings
I agree with the being overwhelmed part. You definitely have to be in the right mindset to go thrifting. I think that is why I didn't find much at the second store....so much to look through that it was overwhelming.
I love to thrift shop for organizational pieces. I used so many in my classroom over the years. Now that I’m retired and co-teaching in a single classroom I don’t need all those pieces anymore. I’ve tried using my favorites in my craft shed at home. There are just too many so I’ve given away most of it. I still love thrifting because you just never know what you’ll find. My best find was a chrome bakers rack many years ago. I ended up getting it ( brand new in the box) for $1.99!! I had reward points on a customer reward card and 10% teacher discount. Great find!!
I recognized the first store. I, too, thought items there were over priced. And the last store used to be my favorite. Making me homesick. Love the two drawer pieces you found.
I love thrifting too and have trained my kiddos to as well.😊 I love hearing your ideas and what catches your eye. I hope to see what you do with both of the cute items you got to repurpose. The desk top item and box with cubbies.
I am a thrift store junkie. Just went today and picked up 2 designer purses (Kate Spade and Betsy Johnson), vintage Pyrex, and a huge Mackey mouse clock. I Always look for items in the craft room. I just moved to a new city so we're going to Goodwill tomorrow.
Looks like a fun shopping day. I miss shopping in store, and I can’t wait to get back out there. I love the items you chose! I look forward to seeing what you do with them!
I don't normally like thrift store shopping--or going to garage sales, either, which I put in the same category. I have found you have to have the mindset of not looking for anything in particular, or you will just end up frustrated. Having said that, my favorite find ever (to date) was a cabinet at a nearby Habitat for Humanity ReStore. I needed something to put a scanner on near my computer. I measured the space, so knew the maximum size I could get. I went to ReStore, just looking for a table, desk, whatever, that would work. I found a large-ish wood cabinet that was the perfect size & height, but had no price on it. One door was broken off at the hinges, but it was still with the cabinet. I found an employee, and asked how much it was. She said she could price it at $39.99, and all their furniture that day was 1/2 price. So, for a little over $20 with tax, I figured it was a good deal, & bought it. I didn't realize until I got it home & was dollying it into the room I needed it in, that it is solid oak! Definitely heavy, so I was glad to have the dolly. LOL I still haven't put the door back on, but I do have it as a "someday" project--just far down the totem pole of projects. Anyway, I still love it. Thanks for sharing your trip & finds. I was really hoping you would buy that office/desk organizer unit. Please show how you fix it up & decorate it. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
That wooden 6 drawer piece is definitely an IKEA item. I know because I've had mine for over 20 years now and still use it! Love your tips. And I also love your shirt. :)
See, I thought it was IKEA, but it looks a bit different than the others that I've seen at IKEA. Maybe it is a bit older? Either way, I think it was a fabulous deal!
The brown bowls & turning brown bowl thing look like they r from another country. I love things from other countries. I am so glad u got the 9 wooden drawer set. Please do a video when u paint it or refurbish it. Have a great day.
Oh girl thrift shopping is my favorite!!! Your thrift stores seem much more organized than ours... thanks for taking us along. Because of my immune system and covid I have not been able to do this very much, was fun to watch. Great finds!! Not going to lie, I was telling you to grab some things for me while you were shopping... 😂
@@ScrappyWife I was so inspired by your video, that I actually did some thrift shopping Saturday, the weather was decent and it felt amazing!! Only found a couple pieces but found a set of little tiny tea spoons for the tea set I'm putting together for my granddaughter!! They were absolutely perfect and exactly what I was looking for! God is good!!😊
It was fun to go virtual thrift shopping!
Thanks for coming along!

I used to use thrift finds all over my classroom as well when I taught!
I love thrift shopping! Great video Elisa!💞
It's so fun! I love finding treasures!
I loved the storage pieces with the drawers! I started out with all mine in clear acrylic but you’ve given me a lot of ideas to brighten up my room!
I like using a mix of the clear acrylic pieces and some more colorful pieces to brighten up my room. Plus, for $5, its fun to try out some new things!
I recognized the first store. I, too, thought items there were over priced. And the last store used to be my favorite. Making me homesick. Love the two drawer pieces you found.
They were great deals! And yes, I am not sure what is up with the Salvation Army...definitely pricey.

Another video is coming up this week!
Love it when you do these type of videos!
Glad you like them!
Nice finds. Me and my daughter found all her vases for her we’d at several thrift store. TFS!!👍🏽
Vases are a fantastic thing to look for while thrifting.

I cant wait to see what you do with your large black piece
It feels a bit daunting, but I am looking forward to working on it soon.

I already worked on one last week and have a video coming out soon!
@@ScrappyWife, awesome!!
I loved your dogs reaction when you held up the piece that broke off! ‘Wazzat? Can I eats it?’ 😂
Haha, it's the Beagle in her...always looking for food!
My dachshunds are the same. Always looking for schnaxx!🤣
Fun haul! Please show us how you redo the drawer and desk sets
Will do!

Thanks! I love finding those deals!
I love going thrift shopping or yard sale shopping. You never know what you will find. Looks like your stores are better than mine though
It's so fun to see what you can discover. Some days are better than others for sure.
Make sure to let us see how that storage unit turns out after you fix it up!
Will do!
Where was that second store? I saw stuff I would buy.
It's called B-Thrifty
