The Funniest Smith and Jones Sketch Ever

- Watching what I think is the funniest ever Smith and Jones sketch. In the sketch, Frank Sinatra (Mel Smith) fires his pianist Eddie Layton (Griff Rhys Jones) during a live performance. This is the first video I've uploaded on UA-cam for sometime due to most of my videos being removed for copyright and for being inappropriate and I've not had time.
Never seen it before, superb .
This sketch always makes me laugh. I love Smith and Jones always have from way back when. The talking head to heads is a highlight for me. This is such a hilarious scene. Always gets me.. It cheers me up so much ... I miss Mel Smith I really do...

I absolutely love this sketch. It is the funniest thing ever made. Whenever I need a laugh I rewatch this. Thank you for posting. I really miss Mel....the world needs more comedy like this!!!!🇦🇺

The look on Mel's face at 2:07 is priceless and really funny.
Seems to me that this was literally videod from the TV screen and it picked up the guy laughing as he recorded it.
That was my intention. I was recording my reaction. No sense of humour some people. You should try recording yourself watching something funny and laughing at it.

I couldn't agree more. Somebody who thinks he is funnier than Smith and Jones has ruined the sketch.

I remember watching it with my father and my brother years ago. My father called it the funniest Smith and Jones sketch ever and I agree.
@@danielwilliamson6180 and it is also a typical Smith & Jones Scetch, the chemistry between them is unique, it works so good, and the gestures and mimes are eyewatering...
@@Shelldamage One of the geniuses of the duo is that Mel is the guy everyone likes and Griff is the guy everyone hates and Griff always pretending to thick and lacking intelligence especially in the head to head sketches.

It WAS quite funny (not by far their best though) but now completely ruined by the added laughter.

@@alexhutton3569 No. No. No. It's a reaction video. I was recording my reaction to it. It's not about ego. I don't have an ego. I am autistic. Sometimes I watch Smith and Jones on YT. It was a sketch that I hadn't watched in years and I decided to record my reaction and I decided to upload it onto UA-cam. If you don't me laughing at it. Your loss.
