It's too good man. It's even better than I expected. To think 2022 would be the year we finally get a MK series and people are loving it. BTW, did you know that golden statue he talks to is Bertrand Crawley?
My favorite part was Steven fleeing from the storage unit into the street and meets Layla. Her whole introduction ... "Do you see the spiral you've put me through? It's not ok, I'm still your wife". What a shocking reveal! And even though she thinks Marc is bullshitting her with this accent, she doesn't miss a beat when the cops come. She grabs the scarab and out the window she goes. She was a badass in her first episode.
I love what they're doing with Khonshu. They've given him complexity and dimensionality, which is totally appropriate. At one moment, he's toying with Steven in the hallway to spook him into compliance. At another, he's brutal and commanding Steven to break Arthur's windpipe. Later, he's cutthroat in his blackmail of Marc to bend him to his will. And within seconds of that, he shows he's caring of Marc (sort of) by telling him he'll do everything in his power to protect him. I think they've handled Khonshu brilliantly. I also really like the decision made with Mr. Knight in this episode... to obviously give him powers like super strength and endurance (and even extra confidence), but no idea at all HOW to fight. Leaves some room for him to grow and learn to become more useful in that area, while still carving out a more traditional Mr. Knight niche.
There are people gonna be divided over how mr knight is handled. But supposedly going forward, the mr. knight persona will be using steven's wits and puzzle solving as well has his knowledge of ancient egypt
I think this show will end with Marc teaching Steven how to fight as Mr. Knight which is why he had the 2 metal sticks, while he continues to take over the Moon Knight persona.
Oscar Issac is amazing...this show is just great on all levels...and what it shows me too...is while I get that Moon Knights justice is the right kind, it still shows that to the Gods we are just playthings for their will. I mean look at Marc..he is doing this because he doesn't want this life for his wife, whom he loves with all his heart...you can role reverse no loving wife would want that life for her husband.
Oscar is fantastic as Steven and Marc I am enjoying Moon Knight more then I expected. It has funny Comedy, Action and Story in it something most of the marvel shows needed.
Glad you finally posted your reaction. Was totally waiting for your reaction to Mr. Knight 😁 it looks so fucking cool and so did Khonshu. This was golden
14:49 I love how this goes back to James Rhodes and Bruce's argument about going back in time to kill baby Thanos. Thanos was always going to do what he did--2014 Thanos couldn't be swayed from what 2019 Thanos did. His resolved hardened. Still, Bruce and the others thought that what James was proposing was a bit dark, but they also pointed out that it wouldn't have made a difference because their past was a done deal. This was another stellar episode. I can't wait to see where this all leads.
I think we are seeing not only the mental health aspect of mark and Steve but also Ethan hawkes character because he's showing signs of one that is dilusional
3:57 / 24:24 I believe one of the writers or producers stated that Bushman would not be in the show as they found him to be too similar to MCU Killmonger
Just had the most intense and exhausting one hour of buying Dr Strange tickets. Now I can finally rest and watch the ep2 reaction on a grateful universe.
@@popeyeschicken3535 I've considered that or maybe he does have a reason, but he's okay with Marc for now. Recently in the comics it was revealed Revonna Renslayer (Kang's wife) was the 1st Moon Knight and Layla does sort of look like her. Maybe that could be a reason?
@@FandomZone Maybe that's where they're leading? That would be pretty cool. A husband/wife duo serving as the twin Fists of Khonshu. Oh, and Jed's run is fantastic. I really need to order some more comics of that series.
Coming in after the end of the show, it appears it’s a bit of a bluff - he can’t FORCE anyone to become his avatar, and Layla refused. But he is manipulative and patient. He could have planned to wait for a time when she was desperate and it seemed the only way. Perhaps if Marc hadn’t warned her about Khonshu, and Taweret hadn’t put in a more appealing offer…
I have neıther read nor even seen the comics and never heard of the character (as an older Brit I apologise). I am therefore watching the series as a total newcomer. I love the series so far and will certaınly continue with ıt. However, from my point of view, at present, the only main characters I am shouting for are Steven and Layla! All the others appear to be devious, manıpulating and have their own plans. Who exactly is the hero, because personally I would trust none of them. Presumably Steven now takes a back seat in the series. Hope I am wrong, but like I said, never read the comics, so thank you for filling in some of the background.
My question is if they are going to take a reality aspect to all of this. All through watching this I am enjoying it and hoping Moon Knight will find his way in other Marvel stories. On the other hand part of me hopes this will end with Marc in a psyche ward and this is all in his mind.
I really dont like that the spirit summons arent visible to anyone else. Takes away the stress and fear towards civilians. So now i feel no weight to the show
I think it adds another layer to Marc in the perception of mental health in the series. People see this person fighting nothing, making the fancy drunk comments, showing how people often perceive and dismiss mental health. Plus it allows for Harrow to act unseen for so long without getting caught. It reminds me of the doctors/nurses at the sanitarium in Lemires run. Everything seems normal and the individual crazy
Why? It's invisible, but it's REAL. It had no problem slapping Layla around and totalled that car when it was hit. The idea that Harrow can summon invisible jackal monsters to tear anyone he wants apart without them even knowing they should run is pretty stressful.
We are working on uploading episodes 1 & 2 uncut next week. But yes reactions will be uncut :) we just did a soft launch for general support so haven’t got the tier system yet.
What did you think of Episode 2? What were some of your favourite moments?
"Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, my name is Steven with a V"
Definitely Mr. Knight's appearance and so much more Khonshu and Marc

well he is pretty much enslaved by khonshu in a way
I was waiting for Khonshu to refer to Marc as his "son" just like in the comics.
The worst Dad in the comics trying his best. I always like Khonshu

Hadn’t thought about Harrows mental health, could be very interesting if it goes past faith and devotion
they are my favorite couple ;D
incredible moon knight scene and fun mr knight fight
Even though it was brief it kicked so much butt
@@FandomZone without a doubt, I hope soon jake lockley appears, maybe as a post credit scene
SEE THESE 2 SWIPE LIKE....
YESSSSSSSSSSSS.......NO FREAKING QUESTION
16:00 if it weren't for his supernatural resistance, the series would have already ended XD
This was a Yes episode.

At least you got them! Hooray!
He said "Fist of Vengeance" guys get ready for "Spirit of Vengeance" aka Ghost Rider!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's one for the engagement rating: In the video description, "out" should be "our", I guess.
Lesson of today, never make a deal with a god
I am wondering whether Khonshu's threat is a bluff or if he has a specific reason for wanting Layla?
Maybe it’s just a bluff to have Marc continuously work for him
