love this style you made it so much easier for me to do. although I was trying to figure out the 7 in the back and 8 in the front. after watching over and over I realized it's 7 in the back and 6 in the front

Did the edge control turn white after a while?
No I didn’t have any problems with it turning white, but if you ever ran into that problem I would suggest re applying foam or using oil on it

What type of blow dryer do you use? I’m currently searching for a really good one with a great comb attachment that is durable.
I like using the babyliss pro super turbo blow dryer, you can also order the comb attachment on Amazon
Did you dip the ends in hot water before putting the perm rods in? Or is that not necessary to curl? I love the look

Yes my hair was flat iron ironed about a week prior
