It is weird. It's sad seeing a game end. All those people are losing a connection to something they loved. I remember when Playstation Home shut down. It was very bittersweet. I would chat with so many online friends there.
this is truly sad we (global) never got our hands on the game been waiting for 7 years...for it do get terminated i blame namco for handling it so poorly with AGS like wtf did you think would happen ? should have published it yourselves.. Star resonance is our last hope
The fact that they didn't even give the game a chance to breathe in the west is shameful as i've been waiting years to play this but they never brought it over only gatekeeping a region based community.

Possibly but remember this came out for japanese communities possibly Chinese as well because it was made by Taiwan and Hong Kong studios. It's only been out as a real product for like a year and a half not to mention they are just making a new spinoff game for it. So unlikely fans were dedicated enough to run it again seeing the marketing for japanese home computers are generally lower compared to mobile gaming

I’ve never even heard about this game, but for some reason this makes me semi emotional. You’ve got all these people who put hundreds of hours into this game and instead of using pouting emotes into oblivion they just let their characters dance into the sunset waiting for the world they helped shape crash and burn. MMOs can be cool like that sometimes. I remember when I used to play WoW they removed one of the forms that Druids could shift into that I loved dearly. I started dancing alone next to the flight path into the main city of that expansion about half an hour before serve maintenance and slowly more and more Druids joined the dance party until the servers went down. I have no clue who any of them were but the unspoken camaraderie is something you couldn’t get in any other genre of game. Just a bunch of stupid trees doing the twist. 🥲
