Me and my best friend actually went to see Harriet in theaters. We cried, too. I’m white and he’s black, and we’ve known each other since Kindergarten. We’re both 24 now and are like family. We were appalled at how African American people were treated back in the day, and we thought it was an intense film. So emotional, sad, yet triumphing and inspirational. It really did Harriet Tubman justice. We had no idea what a badass she was! She was a hero ♥️
I’m so glad you went with your best friend. Nothing better than seeing a movie like this one with your best bud. Cherish your relationship, sometimes it’s better than family✨ I wanna thank you so much for letting me know how you felt and what your experience was, while watching this movie. I really appreciate it. I couldn’t agree more. She was a bad ass Queen. Its out in february so I still have to wait 2 months😩 But I will share my review once i did. Thanks again❤️
I saw the movie last night she kicked ass in that movie.. you must go see this movie.. people roared and cheered at the end like they were at a football game
When she said I’ll give every drop of blood in my veins until this monster called slavery is dead makes meh cry every time Harriet Tubman is probably my favorite heroine yes Moses preach it!
Girl, confession time: I haven't seen Tula yet. It came out right at the time that I moved here and during that hectic period I totally forgot about it. I went to the Tula museum last year and really wanted to see it but couldn't find the movie.. but guess what I just found on youtube?! I'm gonna watch it right now!!
Amber Melaan girllll...that’s totally understandable. It’s really a movie that should be watched, when one is at ease. Can’t wait to hear what you think of the movie❤️
@@Cozygamerreads it was intensss. Like, I know the story, but seeing it come to life was a whole other level.. It makes it so much more real and unbelievable that that actually happend, and that it's still happening till this day. We are definitely very very privileged here 😔

You're reaction was priceless💞 when my daughter asked me to go with her to see it I told her I didn't think I wanted to see it in the theater because I didn't wanna embarrass her by crying in the movie reading about this remarkable woman is one thing and now to be able to visually see it and see the pain the fight the energy & light enthusiasm and strength and courage on the big screen I have to admit you're reaction is what gave me that gentle push to go see this movie Thank you very much for sharing your video I appreciate it Love And Light💙
Marie Moon thanks so much for sharing that! I think it’s a beautiful thing that your daughter asked you to go with her. There’s nothing embarrassing about showing your true emotions. Any filmmaker would be thrilled if people showed more how they feel or felt after watching something that they created. At least thats what I tell myself hahaha. It should be okay to be moved by art. I can’t wait to hear what you thought of the movie once it comes out. I will def. Share my review, even though it’s gonna take Holland some time to pick the movie up. ❤️

I cried watching this then, and I cried watching this now. Harriet Tubman was one of the most incredible people in all of human history.
Great reaction! This Harriet bio is being directed by a African American female Kassi Lemmons who also directed Eve's Bayou and Talk to Me!
