I really don’t like jumping on the back of popular pattern releases and it seems like I mull over things and just when I think about doing a pattern you pop up with a review! Yay😻 You’re my fairy godmother of patterns. I’ll need to get the blue fabric you recommend and I was thinking of making it in the perfect jersey I bought from you a while ago. Great to see you back, Billie is the latest pattern I made. I agree with you about the sleeve length, I usually need to shorten the sleeve by 2” which I did and it’s just ok, also I always shorten bodice by 2” and it’s a tiny bit cropped. Next time I will only shorten by 1”. I used the sewing society kit from G&G which had organic sweatshirt fabric. Plan to use a lighter weight and make a t shirt type of jumper. Hair looks great by the way. 😊

Nice to see you again, your videos are too few and far between!! I miss seeing you regularly but with everything that's been going on it's understandable! You're hair has almost grown out all it's colour, the silver looks great on you! Love it! Just goes to show how silver can be sexy too!

The sweatshirt looks lovely on you Cheryl and really complements your new hair. I loved the other fabrics you showed too. So nice to see you vlogging again. 🤗I made the Billie view 4 with the balloon sleeves in a Ponte weight fabric. I like it a lot. I lowered the neckline 1.5 inches and lengthened it 2inches. Strangely the pockets are still in the right place as you lengthen in the bodice. I used the toaster long cuff on the balloon sleeve as it’s short when gathered and it’s perfect. I’ve since made the plain sleeve version as wanted it to be more casual. I used the long cuff here too but kind of wished I hadn’t as in cooordinating cuffing. One thing to be sure of is really getting the notches for the pockets lined up as that bit seemed confusing to me,. I don’t put pockets in everything either but in this it’s a design feature I feel.
