I bought this 1995 Toyota Estima Emina X minivan in November 2019 with the interior already converted into a bed/ couch and kitchen. It is certified self-contained, which means it can park in any freedom camping site in New Zealand. I don’t live in it full-time, but it has everything you’d need to do it.
I made so many repairs, upgrades, and additions that I didn’t mention in this video, and there are still a few things left to do. While campervans are common in NZ, this one includes a few rare or unique features:
-sunroof, moonroof, and all-wheel drive (AWD)
-moonroof bug screen so you can sleep under the stars
-portable fresh water faucet
-radio that can connect to Bluetooth, USB, or auxiliary cable
-360º phone mount dash cam with charging cable
-5 clotheslines inside
-USB-powered fan
-3D Doge pillow
-stainless steel wine glass tumblers with lids
-secret compartments

FYI, both Emina and Lucida are smaller versions of Estima for tax reasons. They are just sold in different Toyota stores for branding

You're welcome! There is no space to use the toilet while the bed is made up. I never actually used the toilet in the van. I always stayed at a campsite with a toilet.
I lOved this !!! I have a Previa ..no mOOn 🌝 rOOf though...mine looks the same color but it is a forest green.. same exact interior .. I have captain chairs ... I sleep in mine camping in mOntana.. because of grizzlies...are you from NZ ?

You don’t use the toilet?
No one dirties their portable van toilet when they can just use the real bathroom at campsites and businesses along the drive.
