  • Transient ischemic attacks, or TIAs, are a neurological emergency defined as a transient episode of neurologic dysfunction caused by focal ischemia without acute infarction. TIAs significantly increase the risk of future stroke and thus require prompt evaluation and treatment. In this video, we provide an overview of the clinical presentation, diagnosis, evaluation, and management of TIAs.
